Salam Street
Salam Street (less commonly known as 8th Street or Eastern Ring Road) is one of the main roads in the city of Abu Dhabi. It starts from Sheikh Zayed Bridge (which is under construction) and curves its way around Abu Dhabi's eastern end until it ends at the intersection with Corniche Road. Salam Street runs through the main modern shopping area and Robat Street, the new bypass north of the town.

Khalidiyah Mall is a shopping mall located in Abu Dhabi, the capital of the United Arab Emirates, in the densely populated residential area of Al Khalidiyah. It houses 160 stores including Lulu hypermarket, and has an area of 86,000 sq m (about 800,000 square feet). The mall was opened in January 2007 and is run by EMKE Group. EMKE Group announced plans for the 800,000 sq ft mall in May 2004, which was expected to cost Dh200 million.

Alghadeer
alghadeer is a 3 million sqm property development on the eastern border of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, on the border between the city and Dubai. Part of the wider Saih Al Sidirah development. It is to be a fully self-contained community. The community will include a mosque, retail, parks and an international school. It was launched in October 2007 by Sorouh Real Estate at Cityscape Dubai 2007. On May 2009 some elements of the project have been adjusted due to the challenging market conditions.
St. Joseph's Cathedral, Abu Dhabi
St. Joseph's Cathedral is the only Catholic Church in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. The first Church was built in 1962 in the present Corniche on a plot of land donated by H.H. Sheikh Shakbut, the ruler of Abu Dhabi at that time. On March 19, 1981, The Church was relocated to its present location in Abu Dhabi. On February 25, 1983, the Church became a Cathedral serving the Roman Catholic Vicariate Apostolic of Southern Arabia with Bishop Bernard G. Gremoli as resident bishop.

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Centre (commonly abbreviated ADNEC) is an exhibition centre in Abu Dhabi. It was opened by Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, President of the United Arab Emirates on February 18, 2007. The venue is the largest exhibition centre in the Middle East with 73,000sqm of indoor event space. ADNEC stages around 100 exhibitions, conferences, live events and weddings every year and receives approximately 1.8 million visitors every year.
Capital Centre (Abu Dhabi)

The authority was founded in 1983 with support of the late Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan. Its main objectives are to carry out Red Cross operations on a systematic basis throughout the whole UAE. In 2010, the organization celebrated its 27th birthday.
