Avanhard Stadium (Rivne)
Avanhard Stadium is a multi-use stadium in Rivne, Ukraine. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home of FC Veres Rivne. The stadium holds 20,000 spectators.
Battle of Rovno
The Battle of Rovno was a World War II battle between remnant forces of the German XIII Army Corps and the Red Army in and around the Ukrainian city of Rovno on 2 February 1944. Army Group South had instructed XIII corps to establish new defensive positions on the Sdolbuno-Uscie-Rovno-Zolotyov line in order to delay the advancing Red Army who were aggressively pursuing the retreating Army Group as part of the Korsun–Shevchenkovsky Offensive.
