Obolon Raion

Obolon Raion (Ukrainian: Оболонський район, Obolons’kyi raion), is a municipal raion (administrative district) of the Ukrainian capital Kiev. Obolon Raion encompasses territories far beyond of its historical neighborhood with the same name. Its current population is 290,000 inhabitants. It was formed on March 3, 1975 and initially called as Minsk Raion. In 2001 it was decided to rename the raion to its historical name of the region.

Petrivka is a station on Kiev Metro's Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska Line. The station was opened on December 19, 1980 in the Petrivka neighbourhood of the Podilskyi Raion of Kiev near Petrivka Railway Station. It was designed by I.L. Maslenkov, T.A. Tselikovska, A.S. Krushynskyi, and F.M. Zaremba. The station is located shallow underground and consists of a central hall with columns. The walls along the tracks have been covered with yellow marble and decorated with two abstract reliefs.

Tselikovska, A.S. Krushynskyi, and A. Pratsiuk. The station was formerly known as Prospekt Korniichuka until 1990. The station is located shallow underground and consists of a central hall with columns. The walls along the tracks have been covered with yellow marble and decorated with two bronze works of art.

Minska is a station on Kiev Metro's Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska Line. The station was opened on November 6, 1982 in the Obolonskyi Raion of Kiev. It was designed by I.L. Maslenkov, T.A. Tselikovska, and F.M. Zaremba. The station takes its name from the Minskyi Raion (now Obolonskyi Raion) in which it is situated. The station is located shallow underground and is the first Kiev Metro station with a vaulted roof without column support.

Heroiv Dnipra (Kiev Metro)

Heroiv Dnipra is a station on Kiev Metro's Kurenivsko-Chervonoarmiyska Line. The station was opened on November 6, 1982 in the Obolonskyi Raion of Kiev and was designed by G.D. Andreev. The Metro station is named after the street directly above it. The station is closer to the surface than a lot of other Metro stations. The platform has a central hall with brown square columns. The walls are adorned with white and yellow marble, and the floor is red granite.

Obolon Arena

Obolon Arena is football stadium in the city of Kiev, Ukraine. It is the home ground of FC Obolon Kyiv. The stadium is located in the northern fringes of the city, close to the Kiev Metro railway station Heroiv Dnipra. The stadium was opened in October 2002 with a Ukraine Premier League game which saw Obolon play against Kryvbas. In late 2006 construction began on the northern stand and the work was completed in the summer of 2008. This stand added 3,000 additional seats.
