Yuzhnoye Design Bureau
Yuzhnoye Design Bureau (Ukrainian: Державне конструкторське бюро «Південне» ім. М. К. Янгеля; Russian: Констру́кторское бюро́ «Ю́жное»), located in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine, is a designer of satellites and rockets, and formerly of Soviet intercontinental ballistic missiles (ICBMs) established by Mikhail Yangel. Yuzhnoye's OKB designation was OKB-586. The company is in close co-operation with the Yuzhmash multi-product machine-building company also situated in Dnipropetrovsk.
Kodak Fortress
Kodak fortress was a fort built in 1635 by the order of Polish king Władysław IV Vasa and the Sejm over the Dnieper River, near what was to become the town of Stari Kodaky. It was constructed by Stanisław Koniecpolski to control Cossacks of Zaporizhian Sich, prevent Ukrainian peasants from joining forces with the Cossacks and guard the southeastern corner of the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth.
Stadium Meteor
Stadium Meteor was a multi-purpose stadium in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. It was used mostly for football matches, and was the home of FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. The stadium can hold 24,381 people. Currently its tenant, Dnipro was relocated to Dnipro Stadium after a long spell at this arena.

Dnipro-Arena is a football stadium in Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. It is mostly for football matches and hosts the homes matches of FC Dnipro Dnipropetrovsk. The stadium has a capacity of 31,003 people. It replaced Dnipro's old stadium Stadium Meteor. It staged the World Cup qualifying match between Ukraine and England as the Olimpiysky National Sports Complex in Kiev was being rebuilt ready for Euro 2012.
Vokzalna (Dnipropetrovsk Metro)
Vokzalna is a station on Dnipropetrovsk Metro's Tsentralno–Zavodska Line. The station is presently the eastern terminus of the line and was opened on December 29, 1995. However, once the nearby Teatralna station will be completed, it will cease being the eastern terminus. The station has a total of 3 exits, all of which exit onto the Petrovskyi Square. The station is named Vokzalna for the located nearby main railway station in Dnipropetrovsk.

Metrobudivnykiv is a station on Dnipropetrovsk Metro's Tsentralno–Zavodska Line. It is a single-vault deep subway station, accessible by escalator and was opened on December 29, 1995. The station has a total of 3 exits, each of which leads the corner of Kalinin Avenue and Petrovsky Avenue. The station is named Metrobudivnikiv for the subway builders of the city.

The station is located on the Kalinin Avenue, near the Organ music centre. The station is named Metalurhiv for the steel-makers of the city and metallurgical plant located nearby.

The station is located on the Komunarivska Street (for which it is named) and the corner of the Brativ Trofymovykh Street and in the Krasnyi Kamen and Komunar residential areas of Dnipropetrovsk.

The Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture is one of the major academic institutions of higher education in Ukraine, specializing in engineering and economics, located in Dnipropetrovsk. Founded in 1930 as the "Dnipropetrovsk Institute of Civil Engineering", it currently has 7 faculties and 590 full-time faculty members. It is a member of several academic co-operations, including the IAU (1997) and АUF (2006).

Transfiguration Cathedral, Dnipropetrovsk
The Saviour's Transfiguration Cathedral (Ukrainian: Спасо-Преображенський кафедральний собор) is the main Orthodox church of Dnipropetrovsk, Ukraine. The foundation stone was laid in 1786 by Catherine II of Russia and Emperor Joseph II. The event is described in the memoirs of comte de Ségur. Prince Grigory Potemkin envisioned the church as one of the spiritual centres of New Russia.
