Taksim Square
Taksim Square, situated in the European part of Istanbul, Turkey, is a major tourist and leisure district famed for its restaurants, shops, and hotels. It is considered the heart of modern Istanbul, with the central station of the Istanbul Metro network. Taksim Square is also the location of the Monument of the Republic which was crafted by the famous Italian sculptor Pietro Canonica and inaugurated in 1928.
Galatasaray High School
Galatasaray High School is one of the most influential high schools of modern Turkey. Established in 1481, it is the oldest Turkish high school in the world and the second-oldest Turkish educational institution after Istanbul University which was established in 1453. Being an Anatolian High School, access to the school is open to students with a high Nationwide High School Entrance score. Education consists of a blend of Turkish and French curricula and is provided in both languages.
Republic Monument
The Republic Monument is a notable monument located at Taksim Square in Istanbul, Turkey to commemorate the formation of the Turkish Republic in 1923. Built in two and half years with financial support from the population and unveiled by Dr. Hakkı Şinasi Pasha on August 8, 1928, it was designed by Italian sculptor Pietro Canonica.
Istanbul Military Museum

Recep Tayyip Erdoğan Stadium is a multi-use stadium in the Kasımpaşa neighbourhood of Istanbul, Turkey. It is currently used mostly for football matches, and is the home stadium of Kasımpaşa S.K. The stadium sits 9,576 spectators (all-seater). Its capacity was extended to 14,234 spectators. Due to extension works, Kasımpaşa played most of its home matches in the Atatürk Olympic Stadium in the 2007–2008 season.

Galatasaray (district)
Galatasaray is a neighbourhood in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul, the largest city of Turkey, on the European side. Galatasaray S.K. , one of the most famous football clubs of Turkey, gets its name from this quarter and was established in 1905 in the nearby Galatasaray Square in Pera, where Galatasaray High School, formerly known as the Mekteb-i Sultani (School of the Sultans) also stands. Galatasaray literally means Galata Palace.

The bomb resulted in at least 32 injuries, 15 of whom were police officers and was claimed by a Kurdish separatist group known as the Kurdistan Freedom Falcons (TAK).

Pangaltı Armenian Cemetery
The Pangaltı Armenian Cemetery was located in the Pangaltı quarter of Istanbul near Taksim Square and originally belonged to the Surp Agop Armenian Hospital. In the 1930s it was demolished and was replaced with the Divan Hotel, Hilton Hotel, Hyatt Regency Hotel, and the TRT Radio Buildings. It is considered the largest non-Muslim cemetery in Istanbul's history.
2012 Istanbul rally to commemorate the Khojaly massacre
A rally commemorating the twentieth anniversary of the 1992 massacre of Azerbaijani civilians by Armenian and CIS forces (of former Soviet republics) took place in Istanbul on 26 February 2012. It is the largest campaign within "Justice for Khojaly" framework. The demonstration with slogan "We are all from Khojaly" started in front of Galatasaray High School and lasted several hours in Taksim Square with around 200 000 participants.

The Mısır Apartment or Mısır Apartmanı (Turkish for "Egypt Apartment") in the Beyoğlu district of Istanbul is a famed historical building on the renowned İstiklal Avenue. Over the years, the building has hosted numerous notables persons and businesses including Mehmet Akif Ersoy, Lazzaro Franco, Hüsamettin Cindoruk, and more. It is considered one of the notable examples of Art Noveau style architecture in Istanbul and was a popular spot for the high society of the city.
