Yunlin County
Yunlin County is a county in the western part of Taiwan, the Republic of China. Yunlin is located to the right of the Taiwan Strait, the east of Nantou County and sharing a border with Changhua County divided by the Zhuoshui River. Yunlin is one of the counties of Taiwan that is part of the Chianan Plain, a flat land rich for agriculture with abundant waters. Agricultural products of Yunlin county include pomelo, tea leaves, suan cai, papaya and muskmelon.

National Chung Cheng University, abbreviated CCU, is a public research university located in Minxiong, Chiayi County, Taiwan. It is distinctive among universities in Taiwan in that it is dedicated to the core humanities and the basic sciences, both natural and social. Chiayi Baseball Field
Chiayi Baseball Field (嘉義市立棒球場) is a multi-use stadium in Chiayi City, Taiwan. It is currently mostly used for baseball games and was ever the home stadium of Chinatrust Whales from 1998 to 2003. The stadium was originally built in 1918 during the Taiwan under Japanese rule era and has been repeatedly refurbished. After the last 1998 refurbishment this stadium can hold 10,000 people, and regularly holds Chinese Professional Baseball League (CPBL) games.

Douliu Baseball Stadium (斗六棒球場) is a baseball stadium in Douliu, Yunlin County, Taiwan. It was opened in 2005 and has a capacity of 15,000 people.
Chiayi Airport
Chiayi Airport (嘉義航空站), commonly known as Shueishang Airport (水上機場), is an airport in Chiayi County, Taiwan. The airport has two runways, and it's used as a Civil Airport and ROCAF Air Base. A number of US Air Force units have been stationed at Chiayi Air Base, including the 67th Fighter-Bomber Squadron from 27 January – 17 February 1955 and 1 July – 1 October 1955.
Kagi Shrine
Kagi Shrine was a Shinto shrine located in Chiayi Park, in Chiayi city The shrine was built on October 28, 1915 facing south but later altered in 1942 to face west. The shrine was originally categorized as a prefectural shrine in 1917 but elevated to small shrine rank in 1944. Prince Yoshihisa, Ōkunitama no Mikoto (大国魂命), Ōnamuchi no Mikoto (大己貴命), Sukunahikona no Mikoto (少彦名命) and Amaterasu were enshrined as deities.

Diving Machine G5
Diving Machine G5 is a roller coaster located at Janfusun Fancyworld in Taiwan. The ride was built in 2000 by Swiss manufacturers Bolliger & Mabillard and was the second Dive coaster model to be built, the first being Oblivion at Alton Towers in the United Kingdom. It is located in the Sky Plaza section of the park. Diving Machine G5 is dubbed after the amount of G-forces it creates when it goes through the drop hole. Like Insane Speed, Diving Machine G5 is not themed to anything.
Insane Speed
Insane Speed is a steel roller coaster at Janfusun Fancyworld in Taiwan. Sometimes known as Crazy Coaster on the park's website, or Floorless Coaster, as the sign in front of the ride's queue announces, the ride in Chinese is known as 衝瘋飛車. Insane Speed has two trains numbered 1 and 2, but the park usually only uses one on off-peak days due to the extremely low amount of riders in the queue.
Janfusun Fancyworld
Janfusun Fancyworld (劍湖山世界) is an amusement park located on the island of Taiwan, Republic of China near the city of Douliu. It features a movie theater and costume shops. There is a water park section of Janfusun where you can enjoy a Hawaiian-like stage and many water rides. The park features three roller coasters including Diving Machine G5 and Insane Speed, both built by Swiss manufacturers Bolliger & Mabillard. The park also features live shows including acrobats and a drag queen show.

1906 Meishan earthquake
The 1906 Meishan earthquake was a magnitude 7.1 earthquake which occurred on March 17, 1906 and was centred on Meishan, Chiayi, Jiayi County, Taiwan. Referred to at the time as the Great Ka-gi earthquake, it is the third-deadliest earthquake in Taiwan's recorded history, claiming around 1,260 lives.
National Yunlin University of Science and Technology
National Yunlin University of Science and Technology (abbreviated as YunTech), is one of the top technical institutions of higher education and a research-intensive flagship university in Taiwan. YunTech is with approximately 9,500 students per year, 63 percent of whom are undergraduates and 37 percent post-graduates. The students are spread across four colleges, i.e. Engineering, Management, Design, and Humanities and Applied Sciences.
National Chiayi University
National Chiayi University, abbreviated NCYU, is a public university located in Chiayi, Taiwan. It was formed in 2000 by merging National Chiayi Institute of Technology and National Chiayi Teachers College . The University has six colleges, which include seven doctoral programs, 42 full-time master's degree programs, twelve part-time master's degree programs, and 38 undergraduate programs now . NCYU is one of the oldest and largest universities in southern Taiwan.
