Plessur District
Plessur District is an administrative district in the canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It has an area of 266.73 km and has a population of 40,256 (as of 31 December 2011). The district is named after the river Plessur which crosses it. Plessur District consists of three Kreise (sub-districts) Chur, Churwalden and Schanfigg, which are formed from a total of twelve municipalities: ^a Includes the area of Malix and Parpan which merged into Churwalden on 1 January 2010.

Chur railway station
Chur railway station serves the city of Chur, capital of the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Opened in 1858, it is the most important railway junction in Graubünden. The station is the terminus of the Swiss Federal Railways (SBB-CFF-FFS) standard gauge main line from Zürich to Chur, and is also one of the most important stations on the Rhaetian Railway (RhB) metre gauge network.

The halt is closer to the shops, bars and attractions of the old town than the main station.
Lüen-Castiel (Rhaetian Railway station)
Lüen-Castiel is a railway station on the Chur-Arosa line (the "Arosabahn") of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). It is situated in Lüen and also serves nearby Castiel. A short distance to the west of the station, in the direction of Chur, is the Castielertobel Viaduct, which, after the Langwieser Viaduct and the Gründjitobel Viaduct, is the third largest bridge on the Arosa line.

Arosa (Rhaetian Railway station)
Arosa is a railway station on the Chur-Arosa line (the "Arosabahn") of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). It is situated in the town and resort of Arosa, close by to the Obersee (one of the lakes in the vicinity). The station is the upper terminus of the line and has a number of passenger facilities including a ticket office, shop and cafe. A 299m long tunnel takes the line under part of Arosa as it ascends to the station.
Gründjitobel Viaduct
The Gründjitobel Viaduct (or Gründjitobel Bridge; German: Gründjitobel-Viadukt) is a single track reinforced concrete railway bridge, spanning the Gründjitobelbach near Langwies, in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. Designed by Hermann Schürch, it was built between late June 1913 and early July 1914 by Müller, Zeerleder und Gobat, for the Chur–Arosa railway. It is now owned and used by the Rhaetian Railway.
Sassal (Rhaetian Railway station)
Sassal was a small railway station on the Chur-Arosa line (the "Arosabahn") of the Rhaetian Railway (RhB). It was situated on the southeastern outskirts of Chur, by the Plessur river, between the city suburb of Sand and the settlement of Meiersboden. The small community of Sassal is located on the other side of the river, on the hillside near Meiersboden.
Castielertobel Viaduct
The Castielertobel Viaduct is a single track railway bridge spanning the Castielertobelbach, and linking the municipalities of Castiel and Calfreisen, in the Canton of Graubünden, Switzerland. It was built between 1913 and 1914 for the Chur–Arosa railway, and is now owned and used by the Rhaetian Railway.
Plessur (river)
The Plessur is a 33 km long right tributary of the Rhine River running through the Swiss canton of Graubünden. The river source is near the municipality of Arosa in the Plessur Range. It then flows through the Schanfigg valley before emptying into the Rhine at Chur. The Langwieser Viaduct, an early reinforced concrete railroad bridge constructed in 1914, spans the Plessur near the municipality of Langwies.
