Zürich Zoologischer Garten
The Zürich Zoologischer Garten (Zurich Zoological Garden) is a zoo located in Zurich, Switzerland. It was opened in 1929 and, as of 2004, has 2200 specimens of 300 species. It is located on Zurichbergstrasse, on the lower reaches of the Zürichberg in the Fluntern quarter. One of its popular events is the penguin parade, which is performed daily after noon if the outside temperature is below 10 degrees Celsius. The zoologist Heini Hediger was director of the Zürich Zoo from 1954 to 1973.

The Zürichberg is a wooded hill rising to 679 metres (2,228 feet), overlooking Lake Zurich and located immediately to the east of the City of Zurich in Switzerland, between the valleys of the Limmat and the Glatt rivers. Its highest point is about 270 metres above the Limmat and it is part of a chain of hills — among them Käferberg, Adlisberg, Forch and Pfannenstiel — between the Greifensee / Glattal and Lake Zurich.

Kunsthaus Zürich
The Kunsthaus Zürich houses one of the most important art collections Switzerland and Europe, assembled over the years by the local art association called Zürcher Kunstgesellschaft. The Kantonsschule Rämibühl at the Rämistrasse in Zurich, founded in 1832 as "Oberrealschule" consists of four Kantonsschulen (high schools) with different curricular profiles. The four schools, which are attended by more than 2000 students in total, are the Literargymnasium, the Realgymnasium, the Mathematisch-Naturwissenschaftliches Gymnasium and the Kunst- und Sportgymnasium Rämibühl.
Schauspielhaus Zürich
The Schauspielhaus Zürich (English: Zürich playhouse) is one of the most prominent and important theatres in the German-speaking world. It is also known as "Pfauenbühne" (Pfauen Stage). The large theatre has 750 seats. The Schauspielhaus also operates three stages in the Schiffbau in the western part of Zurich, the Schiffbau/Halle (400 seats), the Schiffbau/Box (up to 200 seats) and the Schiffbau/Matchbox (80 seats).
Christoph Froschauer
Christoph Froschauer (ca. 1490 – 1 April 1564) was the first printer in Zürich, notably for printing the Froschauer Bible, the Zwinglian Bible translation. His workshop is the nucleus of the Orell Füssli publishing house. He learned the printer's trade with his uncle, Hans Froschauer, in Augsburg and came to Zürich in 1515. Working for one Hans Rüegger, he built a printing press.

The hotel offers 173 rooms and suites, two restaurants, a bar, 13 conference rooms and a 4'000 m² Spa. The hotel is connected to central Zurich by road, and by the Dolderbahn rack railway, which has its upper terminus next to the hotel complex.
University Hospital Zurich
The University Hospital Zurich is the university hospital of Zürich, Switzerland. It is the country's largest hospital. The first hospital in Zürich, whose continuation the University Hospital ultimately is, is recorded as having existed as early as 1204. The name, location and buildings have since changed many times. As of 2008, the hospital employs a staff of 6,100, providing medical care to 160,000 ambulant and over 30,000 stationary patients each year in 42 clinics.

Zentralbibliothek Zürich (Zürich Central Library) is the main library of both the city and the University of Zürich, housed in the Predigerkloster, the former Black Friars' abbey, in the old town's Rathaus quarter. It was founded in 1914 by a merger of the former cantonal and city libraries. Its history ultimately goes back to the Stiftsbibliothek of the Grossmünster abbey, first attested in 1259.
Barfüsserkloster
The Barfüsserkloster in the old town of Zürich is a former Franciscan abbey. It was first attested in the 1240s and was dissolved during the Reformation, in 1524. The abbey was situated in the southeastern corner of the medieval city, between the Neumarkt and the Linden gates (today at Hirschengraben 13/15). After the Reformation, the abbey buildings were used as a grain depot, and during the early 19th century, as a casino.

Rigiblick funicular
The Rigiblick funicular is a funicular railway in the north-east of the city of Zurich, Switzerland. It links a lower station served by tram lines 9 and 10 and trolley bus line 33, with an upper station at Rigiblick on the Zürichberg hill. The Rigiblick funicular is one of two funiculars within the city of Zurich, the other being the Polybahn funicular in the city centre.
FIFA headquarters
The headquarters of FIFA is a distinctive complex in Zurich. The complex has served as the official headquarters of FIFA since its completion in 2006. It is located on the Zürichberg, a wooded hill in District 7. The complex includes a fitness centre, a meditation room, geographically themed parks and a full-size international football pitch. The main building has only two upper levels, resulting in two thirds of the headquarters lying underground.
