Montreux–Oberland Bernois railway
The Montreux–Oberland Bernois railway (French: Chemin de fer Montreux–Oberland Bernois, German: Montreux–Berner Oberland-Bahn, abbreviated MOB), is a railway operating in southwest Switzerland, one of the oldest electric railways in the country; its main line, 62.4 km in length, built to 1 gauge, connects Montreux, Gstaad, and Zweisimmen, where passengers can transfer to the BLS AG owned, and standard gauge, Zweisimmen to Spiez line. There is also a 12.9 km branch-line from Zweisimmen to Lenk.
Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye railway
The Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye railway (French: Chemin de fer Montreux–Glion–Rochers-de-Naye, MGN) is an electrically operated rack and pinion railway in Switzerland, with a track gauge of 800. It was originally built as two separate lines, the Glion–Rochers-de-Naye railway and the Montreux–Glion railway. The line connects the resort of Montreux, on the shores of Lake Geneva, with the summit of the Rochers de Naye mountain.
Hôtel Splendid
The Hotel Splendid Montreux, in front of Lake Geneva (Lac Leman). It was built at the end of the 19th century and its opening was in 1904. It was in 1934 that the establishment was re bought by Mr. Vital Hausmann. Since then, it has stayed within the family.
Territet–Glion funicular railway
The Territet–Glion funicular railway (French: Chemin de fer funiculaire Territet–Glion) is a funicular in Switzerland, which runs between the Territet and Glion suburbs of the town of Montreux. At its upper terminus, the funicular connects with what was the lower terminus of the Chemin de fer Glion-Rochers-de-Naye (GN) mountain railway, which opened in 1892. This later line was joined, in 1909, in an end on junction at Glion with the newly constructed Chemin de fer Montreux-Glion (MGl).

A9 motorway (Switzerland)
The A9 motorway, an Autobahn in western Switzerland, is a divided highway connecting from Ballaigues (in northwest) to southwestern Switzerland. It is part of the National Road N9. It is double-tracked as a divided highway (directionally separated) in most sections. The N9/A9 runs from Ballaigues on the French border via Vevey, Sion, Brig on the Simplon Pass up to Gondo on the Italian border. The line Sierre-Gamsen is still under construction and not passable.
Montreux railway station
Montreux railway station (French: Gare de Montreux) is the largest of the railway stations serving the municipality of Montreux, in the Canton of Vaud, Switzerland. All of the SBB-CFF-FFS standard gauge passenger trains operating on the Simplon railway line call at this station, which is also the western terminus of the GoldenPass Line narrow gauge railway lines to Zweisimmen and to Rochers de Naye.
Viaduc de Chillon
The Viaduc de Chillon is a viaduct in Switzerland located in Veytaux to the southeast of Montreux. Built by the Consortium des Viaducs de Chillon between 1966 and 1969, it takes its name from the Château de Chillon which lies downhill on the shores of Lac Léman. The viaduct comprises two structures 12 metres wide carrying the east and westbound lanes of the Swiss A9 autoroute.
Glion Tunnel
The Glion Tunnel is a two-gallery vehicular tunnel running underneath Montreux in Switzerland. It carries autoroute A9, which links the Vaud canton to the Valais, and was placed in service in November 1970. The tunnel is 1,350 metres long, 9 metres wide and 7.5 metres high. Between 1970 and 2000, traffic through the tunnel increased from 8,800 vehicles per day to 50,000, with 80,000 vehicles per day at times.
