Geography of Liechtenstein
The principality of Liechtenstein encompasses most of the right (eastern) half of the Rhine Valley, wedged between Austria and Switzerland.
Rheinpark Stadion
The Rheinpark Stadion in Vaduz is the national stadium of Liechtenstein. It plays host to the home matches of the Liechtenstein national football team, and is also the home of Liechtenstein's top football club, FC Vaduz. The stadium was officially opened on 31 July 1998 with a match between FC Vaduz, the Liechtenstein Cup holders at the time, and 1. FC Kaiserslautern, the then Bundesliga champions. 1. FC Kaiserslautern won the match 8-0.
Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium
The Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium (English: Liechtenstein Secondary School) is a secondary school located in Vaduz, the capital of Liechtenstein. It was founded in 1937 as "Collegium Marianum" by the Maristen-Schulbrüder as a private school. Since 1981, the Liechtensteinisches Gymnasium has been public school run by the state of Liechtenstein. The number of pupils has been increasing since the mid-1980s, especially since girls were admitted in the mid 1960s, and is now over 700.
Balzers
Balzers is a village and community located in southern Liechtenstein. As of the 2005 census, the community has a total population of 4,420. The main part of the village is situated along the east bank of the Rhine.
Trübbach
Trübbach is a village in the municipality of Wartau in the Wahlkreis (constituency) of Werdenberg in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. It's on the western bank of the Rhine River, near the Liechtenstein border, which leads to Balzers. Nearby towns include Sargans and Sevelen. It is perhaps best known as the residence of former tennis player Martina Hingis.

Sportpark Eschen-Mauren is a multi-use stadium in Eschen, Liechtenstein. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home ground of USV Eschen/Mauren. The stadium, opened in 1975, seats 600 with a total ground capacity of 2,100 people.
Vaduz Castle

Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein
The Kunstmuseum Liechtenstein (Liechtenstein Museum of Fine Arts) is the state museum of modern and contemporary art in Vaduz. The building by the Swiss architects Meinrad Morger, Heinrich Degelo and Christian Kerez was completed in November 2000. The museum collection of international modern and contemporary art is also the national art collection of the Principality of Liechtenstein.
Fälensee
Fälensee (or Fählensee) is a lake in the Alpstein range of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, Switzerland. At an elevation of 1446 m, the surface area is 0.12 km². It is located in a narrow valley between Hundsteingrat and Roslen-Saxer First.
Sämtisersee
Sämtisersee is a lake in the Alpstein range of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, Switzerland. At an elevation of 1209 m, the surface area is 0.13 km². It is located below Hoher Kasten not far from Fälensee.
Seealpsee
Seealpsee is a lake in the Alpstein range of the canton of Appenzell Innerrhoden, Switzerland. At an elevation of 1,143.2 m, the surface area is 13.6 hectares. The lake can be reached by foot from Wasserauen or from Ebenalp. A network of routes around Ebenalp connects Seealpsee with other notable sights in the Appenzell Alps, such as the Wildkirchli and Säntis. The Berggasthaus Forelle am Seealpsee, with a large open air terrace, dominates the western end of the lake.
Gampriner Seele
Gampriner Seele is the only lake in Liechtenstein. It was created by a flood of the Rhine River with enormous erosion in 1927. The lake lies on 435 metres above Sea Level in the village of Bendern–Gamprin. Gampriner Seele is surrounded by a dense deciduous forest which consists of plants such as reeds, hedges and trees. The treasure was put under nature conservation by the government in 1961. After elimination of the trash the water quality stabilized at B grade.

Vaduz Cathedral
Vaduz Cathedral, or Cathedral of St. Florin, is a neo-Gothic church in Vaduz, Liechtenstein, and the center of the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Vaduz. Originally a parish church, it has held the status of cathedral since 1997. It was built in 1874 by Friedrich von Schmidt on the site of earlier medieval foundations. Its patron saint is Florinus of Remüs (Florin), a 9th century saint of the Vinschgau Valley.

Hohensax castle
Hohensax is a ruined castle in the Sennwald municipality in the Swiss canton St. Gallen. The castle was built around 1200 by the barons of Sax, and was destroyed in 1446. In 1248, the castle passed to Ulrich von Sax, founder of the Sax-Hohensax line of the noble family. The castle was plundered in a feud of 1393, and sold together with the villages of Sax and Gams to the dukes of Austria. In the Old Zürich War, the people of Appenzell captured and slighted the castle in 1446.

It is freely open to tourists and accessible by foot or mountain bike via a local footpath.
