Belchen Tunnel
The Belchen Tunnel is a motorway tunnel in Switzerland, and forms part of the A2 motorway from Basel to Chiasso. It is 3.2 km long, and lies in the northern (slightly northwestern) part of Switzerland. It links Eptingen in the canton of Basel-Country with Hägendorf in the Canton of Solothurn. The tunnel was built in the mid-1960s. It was completely renovated in 2003.

Chilchzimmersattel (el. 991 m. ) is a mountain pass in the Jura Mountains in the canton of Basel-Country in Switzerland. It connects Eptingen and Langenbruck. The pass road has a maximum grade of 7,35 percent. The pass is open all year round, even though it is not cleared after snowstorms. Numerous fortifications can be seen near the pass, dating from World War I and before.

It connects Kienberg in Solothurn and Erlinsbach in Aargau. The pass road has a maximum grade of 9 percent. Although it is the shortest route between Aarau and Basel, traffic over the pass is moderate.
Santelhöchi Pass
Santelhöchi Pass is a mountain pass in the canton of Solothurn in Switzerland. It connects Egerkingen and Bärenwil. The pass is the shortest route from the Autobahn intersection at Egerkingen to Langenbruck, Waldenburg, Liestal, and Basel. The Jurahöhenweg trail crosses the pass road between Hauenstein und Roggen.
Unterer Hauenstein Pass
Unterer Hauenstein Pass (el. 691 m. ) is a mountain pass in the Jura Mountains between the canton of Basel-Country and Solothurn in Switzerland. It connects Buckten in Basel-Country and Trimbach in Solothurn. The pass road has a maximum grade of 6 percent. The pass was probably already used by the Romans. In 1993, Roman artifacts were discovered at the pass. It also lies close to the Roman settlement of Augusta Raurica.
Wigger (river)
The Wigger (formerly also called Wiggeren) is a river in the Swiss cantons of Lucerne and Aargau. It is an important tributary of the river Aar. The Wigger is around 41 kilometers long and flows from south to north for most of its length. The largest city in the Wigger valley is Zofingen. The river rises from the north slope of the Napf in the canton of Lucerne near the border to the canton of Berne in a height of about 1300 meters. There it is called Enziwigger.
Olten railway station
Olten station is a major hub railway station in the canton of Solothurn, Switzerland, at the junction of lines to Zürich, Bern, Basel, Lucerne and Biel. As a result, Olten is a railway town and was also the site of the main workshop of the Schweizerische Centralbahn (German: Swiss Central Railway), which became a major workshop for the Swiss Federal Railways.
Aarburg Castle
Aarburg Castle is a castle in the municipality of Aarburg in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It is located high above the Aarburg on a steep, rocky hillside. The castle was built around a medieval castle, which controlled the narrow point on the Aare river and served as the seat of Aarburg Vogt. It is classified as a Swiss heritage site of national significance. Today it houses the Kantonale Jugendheim, for holding and rehabilitating juvenile offenders.
Ergolz
The Ergolz is the main river in the canton of Basel-Landschaft, Switzerland. It rises on Mount Geisflue in the Faltenjura mountains in the upper region of Basel-Landschaft, on the border with Aargau and Solothurn, and joins the Rhine at Augst. Among the tributaries of the Ergolz are Eibach, Homburgerbach, Diegterbach, Frenke (Anterior and Posterior Frenke), Orisbach, Röserenbach and Violenbach.

Aarau railway station
Aarau railway station serves the municipality of Aarau, capital city of the canton of Aargau, Switzerland. Opened in 1856, it is owned and operated by SBB-CFF-FFS. The station forms the junction between the Olten–Aarau railway line and Baden–Aarau railway line. Previously, it was also a terminus of the now closed Aarau–Suhr railway line. On the southern side of the station yard is a separate station for the metre gauge trains of the Wynental- und Suhrentalbahn.
