Blosenbergturm
The Blosenbergturm is a former radio transmission tower built for the German-language radio station DRS at Beromünster in the Canton of Lucerne, Switzerland, in 1937. It radiated at 531 kHz, the lowest officially allocated frequency in the European medium-wave band. The Blosenbergturm is a self-radiating tower insulated against ground, i.e. the entire tower structure is used as an antenna. Its total height of 217 m makes it Switzerland's third-highest tower structure.

Stadion Brügglifeld is a multi-purpose stadium in Aarau, Switzerland. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home stadium of FC Aarau. The current capacity is 9249 seats, divided into 1499 covered seats (of which 1'187 seats are in the main stand and 312 additional seats on the smaller grandstand). The remainder is an uncovered terracing area which has space for 7,750. The away supporters are housed behind one goal, to the right of where the players run out.

Salhöhe Pass
Salhöhe Pass (el. 779 m. ) is a mountain pass in the Jura Mountains of Switzerland between Kienberg in the canton of Solothurn and Erlinsbach in the canton of Aargau. It connects Kienberg in Solothurn and Erlinsbach in Aargau. The pass road has a maximum grade of 9 percent. Although it is the shortest route between Aarau and Basel, traffic over the pass is moderate.
Staffelegg Pass
Staffelegg Pass (el. 621 m. ) is a mountain pass in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It connects Küttigen and Asp. The postal bus route from Frick to Aarau goes over the pass, and there is a restaurant at the summit.
Suhre
The river Suhre (also Sure) is a 34 kilometer long tributary of the river Aare in the Swiss cantons of Lucerne and Aargau. The river sources in Lake Sempach at an altitude of 504 meters above sea level, and joins the Aare east of the town Aarau at an altitude of 362 meters. The most important side valley is the Ruedertal, which joins the Suhre valley at Schöftland. In medieval age, the river had several different names: Suron (1036), Suranum flumen (1210), Sure (1241).
Kasteln Castle
Kasteln Castle is a castle in the municipality of Oberflachs in Canton Aargau, Switzerland. It is located west of the village on a rocky outcrop, surrounded by vineyards and woods. Today, it serves as a boarding school for students with behavioral problems. The immediately adjacent castle Ruchenstein was demolished in 1643, when the small fort was rebuilt into a Schloss Kasteln.

Hallwyl Castle

Aarau railway station
Aarau railway station serves the municipality of Aarau, capital city of the canton of Aargau, Switzerland. Opened in 1856, it is owned and operated by SBB-CFF-FFS. The station forms the junction between the Olten–Aarau railway line and Baden–Aarau railway line. Previously, it was also a terminus of the now closed Aarau–Suhr railway line. On the southern side of the station yard is a separate station for the metre gauge trains of the Wynental- und Suhrentalbahn.
