Limmat
The Limmat is a river in Switzerland. It is the continuation of the Linth river, known as Limmat from the point of effluence from Lake Zurich, in the city of Zurich. From Zurich it flows in a northwesterly direction, after 35 km reaching the river Aare. The confluence is located north of the small town of Brugg, Aargau and shortly after the mouth of the Reuss. The main towns along the Limmat Valley downstream of Zurich are Dietikon, Wettingen, and Baden.
Baregg
Baregg is the name of a hill in northern Switzerland. Until 1960, it remained an insignificant hill in the Swiss plains. However, with the onslaught of more vehicle traffic, Baregg became more and more of a problem. Eventually, the Baregg Tunnel was built.
Canton of Baden
The Canton of Baden was a canton of the Helvetic Republic. Its capital was the town of Baden. The canton was created in 1798 from the merger of the County of Baden with the Freie Ämter (free bailiwicks), both of which had until then been condominiums (gemeine Herrschaften) of the Old Swiss Confederation. The canton was divided into five districts — Baden, Bremgarten, Muri, Sarmenstorf and Zurzach.

Brugg District is a district in the Canton of Aargau, Switzerland, it is located south of the Aare and the Aargauer Jura covers the district. The capital of the district is the town of Brugg.
Paul Scherrer Institute
The Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI) is a multi-disciplinary research institute which belongs to the Swiss ETH-Komplex covering also the ETH Zurich and EPFL. It was established in 1988 by merging in 1960 established EIR (Eidgenössisches Institut für Reaktorforschung = Federal Institute for Reactor Research) and in 1968 established SIN (Schweizerisches Institut für Nuklearphysik = Swiss Institute for Nuclear Physics).
Baregg Tunnel
The Baregg Tunnel is a motorway tunnel in Switzerland, and forms part of the A1 motorway from Geneva to St. Margrethen. The tunnel is 1.1 kilometres long. It lies in the vicinity of city of Baden, Switzerland. Construction of a controversial third tunnel started in the late 1990s and was completed in 2003. The tunnel is now able to handle and synchronise with the expanded seven-lane motorway. Now, four lanes head for Zürich, while three lanes head for Bern.
Vindonissa
Vindonissa (from a Gaulish toponym in *windo- "white") was a Roman legion camp at modern Windisch, Switzerland. It was probably established in 15 AD. In an expansion around 30, thermal baths were added. The Legio XIII Gemina was stationed at Vindonissa until 44 or 45. With the arrival of the 21st legion the camp was rebuilt with stone fortifications. After the 21st legion had looted the countryside in 69, it was replaced by the 11th legion which remained stationed until 101.

Wettingen Abbey
Wettingen Abbey (Kloster Wettingen) was a Cistercian monastery in Wettingen in the Swiss canton of Aargau. It was founded in 1227 and dissolved during the secularisation of 1841, but re-founded at Mehrerau in Austria in 1854. The buildings are listed as a heritage site of national significance.

Bözberg Pass
Bözberg Pass (el. 569 m. ) is a mountain pass in the Jura Mountains in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It connects the Frick River valley and Brugg and is the shortest road between Basel and Zürich. Two tunnels have been dug under the pass, one for the Federal Railway and one for the A-3 Autobahn.
Rüsler Pass
Rüsler Pass (el. 649 m. ) is a mountain pass in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It connects Oberrohrdorf and Neuenhof. The pass road is a continuation of the Heitersberg Pass road. The pass separates the valley of the Reuss from the valley of the Limmat. The road is closed to motorized vehicles. There is a restaurant at the summit, and it is the trail head for many trails and bike routes.
Rohrdorf, Switzerland
Rohrdorf is a former municipality in the district of Baden in the canton of Aargau, Switzerland. It ceased to exist in 1873, when it was split into the three new municipalities Niederrohrdorf, Oberrohrdorf and Remetschwil.

Königsfelden Abbey
Königsfelden Abbey is a former Franciscan monastery and former Clarisse convent in the municipality of Windisch in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. It was founded in 1308 by the Habsburgs and during the Reformation in 1528 it was secularized. The complex was then the residence of the bailiffs of Bern, and since 1868 it has been a psychiatric clinic. The church is a museum since 2009.
Brunegg Castle
Brunegg castle is a castle in the municipality of Brunegg in the canton of Aargau in Switzerland. The castle was built on a hill at the edge of the Jura mountains in the 13th Century. This castle was probably built, together with Wildegg castle in nearby Wildegg, as part of the Habsburg border defenses. The castle was occupied by Habsburg knights, including Schenken von Brunegg and Gessler von Meienberg.
Klingnau Castle
Klingnau Castle is a castle in the municipality of Klingnau in the Swiss canton of Aargau. The construction of the castle, originally the seat of the Klingen family, was started in 1240. Until 1269 a manor house stood on the grounds. After 1331 the outer walls were added. In the second half of the 14th century the Bishop of Constance was often a resident in the castle. He ordered further improvements and expansions.

The station forms the junction between the Bözberg railway line (German: Bözbergstrecke), which links Basel SBB with Brugg, and the former Aargauische Südbahn, which links Brugg with Zürich HB.
