The Gothenburg School of Business, Economics and Law at the University of Gothenburg (Swedish: Handelshögskolan vid Göteborgs universitet) is a business school in Gothenburg, Sweden. It was founded in 1923 as an independent business college and is situated in the centre of the city, between the districts Vasastan and Haga. In 1961 it was integrated into the state-run university system, still as a separate college, but then was integrated into the University of Gothenburg in 1971.

Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet
Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet, the "Hvitfeldtska High School", is located in Gothenburg, Sweden. The school was founded in 1647 by Queen Kristina. It was originally called "Göteborgs gymnasium" and later known as "Göteborgs högre latinläroverk" before receiving the name after its benefactress, the noblewoman Margareta Hvitfeldt (1608–1683), who left the larger part of her estate to the school. The school has approximately 1,800 students, of age 15 through 19.

Röhsska Museum
The Röhsska Museum (Swedish: Röhsska museet för konsthantverk och design, earlier named Röhsska konstslöjdsmuseet) in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a museum focused on design and applied arts. It was created through donations from Wilhelm and August Röhss and opened to the public in 1916; it has since expanded. The museum has a fine collection of Chinese art and craft and a permanent exhibition of Swedish design stretching from the early 20th century until the present day.

The Göteborg Museum of Art at Götaplatsen, Gothenburg, is renowned for its collection of Nordic art from around the close of the 19th century. Götaplatsen
Götaplatsen is a public square in Gothenburg, Sweden, at the southern end of Kungsportsavenyn (The King's Gate Avenue), the city's main street. The square was inaugurated when Gothenburg held a major international industrial exhibition, 1923, celebrating the city's 300th anniversary. Götaplatsen is Gothenburg's cultural hub, enclosed by the Gothenburg Concert Hall (where the Gothenburg Symphony Orchestra resides), the Gothenburg Museum of Art, the Gothenburg City Theatre and the City Library.
Kungsportsavenyn
Kungsportsavenyn, commonly known as just Avenyn ("The Avenue", It is the major avenue in the city), is the main street of Gothenburg, Sweden, and a smaller counterpart of the Champs-Élysées. It was created in the 1860s and 1870s as a result of an international town planning competition.
Landala
Landala is a district in central Gothenburg, Sweden with about 4,500 inhabitants (2005). Originally a traditional labour district with a large poorhouse, today Landala it is home for some important educational institutes in Western Sweden, such as Chalmers University of Technology, Hvitfeldtska gymnasiet and Vasa Komvux. Also LGA has its origin in Landala. Landala is also famous for its housing projects and social engineering in the 1960's.
Göteborgs Konsthall
Göteborgs Konsthall is a center for contemporary art in Gothenburg (Göteborg), Sweden, showing both Swedish and international art. It is placed in a classicistic building from 1923 at Götaplatsen in the center of the city. Today Göteborgs Konsthall investigates the various forms of contemporary art and presents around five exhibitions a year. Göteborgs Konsthall was built as an art exhibition hall for the jubilee fair of Gothenburg in 1923.
Gothenburg City Theatre
Gothenburg City Theatre opened in 1934 at Götaplatsen square in Gothenburg, Sweden. The theatre was drawn by Carl Bergsten who gave the exterior a Neo-Classical look with a touch of Streamline Moderne. The critics thought it to be a too old-fashioned building – the International Style had had a big breakthrough some years before at the 1930 Stockholm Exhibition. But the interiors of the building pleased the reviewers who thought the auditorium to be "intimate" and “democratic”.
Gothenburg Concert Hall
Gothenburg Concert Hall is located in Gothenburg, Sweden and was built in 1935. The architect for the facility was Nils Einar Ericsson, a major advocate of Functionalism. However, the Concert Hall has a Neo-Classical exterior look, due to the surrounding area at Götaplatsen where the building is placed - the Art Museum and the City Theatre are solid classically designed buildings as well, and were built before the Concert Hall.
Vasastan, Gothenburg
Vasastan is a district in Gothenburg, Västra Götaland County, Sweden. While nearby Haga was a suburb for the working class with wooden houses Vasastan was built in stone in neo-renaissance and baroque style for the wealthy middle class. Vasastan was built in the latter half of the 19th century when the city expanded outside the city walls.
Valand School of Fine Arts
The Valand School of Fine Art formed Valand Academy on 1st July 2012, together with the former School of Film Directing, the former School of Photography and the Department of Literary Composition at the University of Gothenburg. The Valand School of Fine Art was founded as the Gothenburg Drawing School (Swedish: Göteborgs Musei-, Rit- och Målarskola) in 1865 and has been part of the University of Gothenburg since 1977.
International School of the Gothenburg Region
The International School of the Gothenburg Region is an International Baccalaureate accredited international school in Gothenburg, Sweden. The school has been an IB World School since August 2000. The school consists of two campuses. The South Campus for grades 0-5 is located at Guldhedsgatan while the North Campus for grades 6-10 is located on Molinsgatan, near the downtown area of Gothenburg.

Vasaplatsen, Gothenburg
Vasaplatsen is a triangular public square in the district of Vasastaden in Gothenburg, Sweden. Since two tram lines crosses here, there are four combined tram and bus stops on the square close by each other that all go under the name Vasaplatsen. All public trams and buses in Gothenburg are operated by Västtrafik. In 1992, 13 people lost their lives and around 30 people were injured when a driverless tram came down the hill from Kapellplatsen and collided with another tram at Vasaplatsen.
Vasakyrkan, Gothenburg
Vasakyrkan is a church in Gothenburg, Sweden. It is located in the area of Vasastaden, between Hvitfeldtska and Vasaparken. It was founded in 1909 and is built in a Neo-Romanesque style, of granite that was brought from Bohuslän. It underwent major renovations during 1999 and 2000.
Kungsportsplatsen
Kungsportsplatsen is a square in the city centre of Gothenburg, Sweden. The square was constructed 1852 and got its name after the King's gate (the name literally means The King's gate place). The gate was the main entrance to the fortified city, which was and still is surrounded by a moat. When the city grew outside the moat and there was no need to defend the city any longer the gate was torn down. At Kungsportsplatsen there is a statue of king Charles IX, which was placed there 1904.
Vasagatan (Gothenburg)
Vasagatan is a major street in central Gothenburg named after King Gustav Vasa. It stretches from Sprängkullsgatan in west to Heden in east. Along it are well known establishments like the Röhsska Museum, Göteborgs universitets traditional main building and Gothenburg School of Economics and Commercial Law. The street is known for its many cafés, and it has several restaurants. It is said to have the most dense bicycle traffic in Gothenburg.
Haga Church
The Haga Church is an 1859 church located in Gothenburg, Sweden. It belongs to the parish of Haga in the Diocese of Gothenburg. Construction of the church began in 1856 and was finished in 1859. The church and also the pulpit was designed by architect Adolf W. Edelsvärd.
