Västerås Municipality
Västerås Municipality (Västerås kommun) is a municipality in Västmanland County in central Sweden. Its seat is located in the city of Västerås. The municipality prefers to use the denomination Västerås stad (City of Västerås) for the whole territory, including rural areas. The municipality evolved gradually during the municipal reforms in Sweden. Most of the amalgamations took place in 1967 and the municipality in its present form was created in 1971.

Västmanlands regemente
Västmanlands regemente (Västmanland Regiment), designations I 18 and Fo 48, was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traced its origins back to the 16th century. It was disbanded for the first time in 1927 but later reraised and disbanded again in 1997. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the province of Västmanland, and it was later garrisoned there.

Anundshög
Anundshög (also Anundshögen and Anunds hög) is a tumulus near Västerås in Västmanland, the largest in Sweden. It has a diameter of 60 metres and is about 9 metres high. Assessments of the era of the mound vary between the Bronze Age and the late Iron Age. A fireplace under it has been dated by radiocarbon dating to sometime between AD 210 and 540. Some historians have associated the mound with the legendary King Anund, while others regard this as speculative.

ABB Arena is the common name of the two biggest indoor arenas in Västerås, Sweden. "ABB Arena Nord" is the renovated arena which was earlier called Rocklundahallen. "ABB Arena Syd" is the second arena and is a multi arena mainly used for bandy but also for concerts and exhibitions. ABB Arena Nord is the ice hockey arena and VIK Västerås HK's home arena. ABB Arena Nord was renovated in September 2007 and has a capacity of 5,800 spectators.
Torshälla Church
Torshälla Church is a Lutheran church building in Torshälla, Sweden, in the Church of Sweden Diocese of Strängnäs. It serves as the town parish church of Torshälla parish and is located at the Rådhustorget market square. The present church building was originally erected in Romanesque style during the 12th century at the old heathen sacrificial place of Torsharg. Torshälla was granted city rights in 1317, making the old church insufficient for the growing population of the town.
