Solna Municipality
Solna Municipality (Solna kommun or Solna stad) is a municipality in Stockholm County in east central Sweden, located just north of the capital Stockholm. Its seat is located in the 'city' of Solna. The municipality is a part of Metropolitan Stockholm and is totally within the Stockholm urban area. None of the area is considered rural, which is unusual for Swedish municipalities, which normally are of mixed rural/urban character.
Råsunda Stadium
Råsunda Fotbollstadion, also known as Råsundastadion, Råsunda Stadium or just Råsunda, was the former Swedish national football stadium. It is located in Solna Municipality in Stockholm and named after the district in Solna where it is located. In November 2012 it was closed down and replaced by the new Friends Arena about 1 km from Råsunda Stadium. Flats and offices will be built on the old ground.
Essingeleden
Essingeleden is a motorway that goes from Solna to Stockholm, Sweden, crossing the westmost parts of central Stockholm, by going over Kungsholmen, Lilla Essingen, and Stora Essingen. Essingeleden has three bridges — Fredhällsbron (270 m), Essingebron (470 m), and Gröndalsbron (460 m) — and one tunnel, Fredhällstunneln (210 m), which is one of the most trafficked tunnels in Europe.
Hagalund
For Hagalund, Espoo, see Tapiola. Hagalund is a residential area and railway yard in Solna Municipality, 5km north of central Stockholm. It is known for the blue skyscrapers "Blåkulla" (Blue Hill) which, against a rather strong and long-lasting opinion, in the beginning of the 1970s replaced a picturesque working-class and craftsman neighbourhood built in the 1890s and portrayed by artist Olle Olsson Hagalund.
Skytteholm
Skytteholm is a neighbourhood with 7,000 inhabitants in Solna Municipality, metropolitan Stockholm. It is also the site of the shopping mall Solna centrum, a station of the Stockholm metro and houses the seat of local government.
Västra skogen metro station
Västra skogen (Swedish: The Western Forest) is a station on the Blue Line of the Stockholm metro, in Huvudsta, Solna Municipality. The station was opened on 31 August 1975. It features the longest escalator in western Europe, 66 meters and with a vertical rise of 33 meters. http://www. idg.
Näckrosen metro station
Näckrosen is a station on the Stockholm metro, blue line. The station is located in Solna Municipality (northwestern end of Råsunda area), but one of the entrances is in Sundbyberg Municipality. The Näckrosen station was opened in 1975 and is located deep underground under a residential area, close to the Gamla Filmstaden former movie production area.
Vreten metro station
Vreten is a subway station on the Stockholm metro blue line. It was opened in 1985 and is located in the Huvudsta region of the Solna Municipality. The surrounding area being almost exclusively industrial, the station is closed during night hours, although trains still pass the platform. The platform is located in bedrock, 28 meters below ground level under Vretenvägen. The entrance is in the north end at Korta gatan.
Huvudsta
Huvudsta is a suburb of Stockholm in Solna Municipality. In Huvudsta, near Vasastaden in Stockholm, stands the Karlberg Castle which was built in the 17th century. The Huvudsta metro station was opened in 1985 as part of the Blue line. The Västra skogen and Vreten stations also belong to Huvudsta.

Sundbybergs centrum (Sundbyberg Centre) is a metro station, located in Sundbyberg Municipality, approximately 8 km from the centre of Stockholm. It opened on 19 August 1985. The metro station is connected to the railway station Sundbyberg.
Solna centrum metro station
Solna centrum is a metro station and shopping mall in Solna Municipality, approximately 5 km from central Stockholm, Sweden. It is close to the Råsunda Stadium and opened on 31 August 1975. In Solna centrum there are around 120 stores and restaurants, 40 offices and 214 apartments.
Tomteboda
Tomteboda is a place in northern Stockholm, Sweden known for its mail terminal and its shunting yard. A new railway tunnel for commuters is planned between Stockholm South Station and Tomteboda.
Friends Arena
Friends Arena, the national arena of Sweden, is a retractable roof multi-purpose stadium located next to Lake Råstasjön in Solna, just north of Stockholm City Centre, Sweden. The main tenants of the stadium are Sweden's national football team and top-tier Stockholm football club AIK. Both relocated from their previous home at the Råsunda Stadium.

Tranebergsbron is a double arch bridge in central Stockholm, Sweden. Stretching over the strait Tranebergssund it connects the major island Kungsholmen to the western suburb Bromma. It has a road and also metro tracks.
Huvudstabron
Huvudstabron is a bridge in Sweden. Stretching over Bällstaviken it connects the industrial area Ulvsunda in the municipality Stockholm to the city district Huvudsta in the municipality Solna. I first bridge at the location was put forward in the 1930s, but was never realized until the general plan of 1960 when plans for the never realized arterial road Huvudstaleden was being discussed. Huvudstabron was built 1964–67 as a first stage in the project.
Filmstaden
Filmstaden (The Film Town) was a film studio situated in Råsunda, Solna Municipality in Stockholm, Sweden. Built by the main Swedish film producer at the time, Svensk Filmindustri, in 1919–1920, Filmstaden was one of the most modern film studios in Europe. Some 400 movies have been created at Filmstaden. The first movie to be filmed at Filmstaden was The Phantom Carriage by director Victor Sjöström.
Traneberg
Traneberg is a residential district in western Stockholm and part of the Bromma borough. For the 1912 Summer Olympics, Tranebergs Idrottsplats hosted some of the football competitions.
Råstasjön
Råstasjön is a lake next to the Friends Arena in Solna north of Stockholm, Sweden. On the lake, the 1912 final of the Swedish championship in Bandy took place. A promenade of 2.1 km length leads around the lake.
Sundbyberg Church
Sundbyberg Church is the main church of Sundbyberg in Sweden and is a part of the Church of Sweden. It was opened in 1911. The church was built after drawings architect Axel Sjögren and it was breakthrough in the Swedish church building architecture. It is located on Rosengatan 15 in Central Sundbyberg.
Huvudsta metro station
Huvudsta metro station is a station on the blue line of the Stockholm metro, located in Huvudsta, Solna Municipality. The station was inaugurated on 19 August 1985. The distance to Kungsträdgården is 5.2 km.
Alvik metro station
Alvik metro station is a station on the green line of the Stockholm metro, and the Tvärbanan and Nockebybanan tramways, located in Traneberg, Västerort. The station was inaugurated on 26 October 1952. At the same time Nockebybanan was rebuilt and had two new tracks and a new station at the metro platforms. The distance to Slussen is 8 km. Alvik is connected to Brommadepån, a depot for metro cars and trams which is located north of the station.
Central Sundbyberg
Central Sundbyberg (Centrala Sundbyberg) is considered the oldest and most original part of Sundbyberg Municipality in Sweden. It is one of Stockholm's oldest satellite towns. Its proximity to Stockholm City Centre, nostalgic environment and well-connected transportation networks has made this part of town an attractive housing area. Forms of public transport include the Stockholm Metro (Tunnelbanan), Stockholm commuter rail (Pendeltåg) and SL buses.
Solnahallen
Solnahallen is a basketball arena in Solna Municipality, Stockholm County, Sweden which holds about 2,000 people. It servs as home arena for Solna Vikings. The music video for the song "The Final Countdown" by the band Europe was shot at Solnahallen on May 26 and 27, 1986. A helicopter view of the hall is included in the video. Europe's logo and the year -86 printed in big letters are visible in the shot of the roof.

Tranebergs Idrottsplats was a football stadium in Traneberg district, western Stockholm, Sweden. It was opened in 1911. Tranebergs Idrottsplats served as the home ground of Djurgårdens IF for 25 seasons. Stadium was demolished in 1936.
