County of Nyköping
Nyköping County, or Nyköpings län, was a county of the Swedish Empire from 1634 to 1683. It was one of three counties in the province of Södermanland, and in 1683 they were merged into Södermanland County.

Nyköping Castle in Nyköping, Sweden, is a Mediaeval castle from the Birger Jarl era, partly in ruins. The castle is mostly known for the ghastly Nyköping Banquet which took place here in 1317.

During 2006 major relocations were conducted and the company got its current name. The beers of Nils Oscar Brewery have often received good reviews from national beer critics.

Rosvalla Nyköping Eventcenter is a sports and exhibition centre purely owned by the municipality of Nyköping and managed by Peab AB on behalf of Nyköping Sports and Exhibition Centre. The stadium includes indoor ice rinks, tennis courts, bowling lanes and a multi-purpose hall for sports, exhibitions and concerts. The facility, which opened in 2003, is home to the clubs; Nyköpings Hockey and Nyköpings BIS.
