Malmö Opera and Music Theatre
Malmö Opera and Music Theatre is an opera house in Malmö, Sweden. An opera company of the same name presents seasons of opera in this house. Built 1933-1944 by architect Sigurd Lewerentz and, until 1992, known as the Malmö City Theatre accommodating several different organizations, the Opera House and Music Theatre is one of the largest auditoriums in Scandinavia with 1508 seats, created in the form of an enclosed amphitheatre in order to allow for the greatest viewing possibility.
Malmö City Library
Malmö City Library is located in Malmö, Sweden and celebrated its 100 anniversary in December 2005. It has 550 000 different media, about 10 000 DVDs and 33 500 music CDs. In 2006 it became the first library in Sweden to lend video games. Malmö City Library first opened on the 12th December 1905, then in Hotel Tunneln. At that time they had 3096 volumes - books and periodicals. In 1946 it moved to "The Castle" at Regementsgatan.

Rooseum
The Rooseum Center for Contemporary Art, located in Malmö, Sweden, was a formally private-owned centre for contemporary art. Founded in 1988 by the Swedish art collector and financier Fredrik Roos, the Rooseum promoted experimental relationships between art, artists and audience, by offering exhibitions and commissions linked to seminars, discussions and relevant screenings. The Rooseum, which was housed in a former power station built in 1900 at Gasverksgatan 22, closed in 2006.

Swedbank Stadion, often called Stadion, is a football stadium in Malmö, Sweden and the home of Allsvenskan club Malmö Fotbollförening, commonly known as Malmö FF. In UEFA competitions, the stadium is known as Malmö New Stadium for sponsorship reasons. The stadium is named after Swedish based banking group Swedbank, which owns its naming rights. Apart from being the home of Malmö FF, Swedbank Stadion has also hosted senior and youth international matches, concerts, and other events.

Aq-Va-Kul
Aq-Va-Kul is a swimming complex in western Malmö city, Sweden owned by Malmö Municipality. It was built in 1956 as Simhallsbadet with a 25 m pool. In 1977 a 50 m pool was built and in 1988 a water park was added. There are also a Turkish bath and a relax division. The facility has 600,000 visitors yearly.

Malmö Concert Hall
The Malmö Concert Hall is a 1200-seat concert hall located on Föreningsgatan in central Malmö, Sweden, and the home of the Malmö Symphony Orchestra. A new combined concert hall and congress centre is currently being planned in Neptuniparken close to the waterfront in Malmö, with several prominent architects involved including Daniel Libeskind and Snøhetta. The winning proposal will be presented on 5 May 2010. The future use of the current concert hall has yet to be decided.

Malmö Idrottsplats (Malmö sports field), commonly referred to simply as Malmö IP and sometimes as Gamla IP (The old sports field), is a football stadium in Malmö, Sweden. As of 2012, it is the home of ladies association football club LdB FC Malmö, currently playing in Damallsvenskan. It is the former home stadium of both Malmö FF and IFK Malmö. The stadium is the third largest in Malmö behind Malmö Stadion and Swedbank Stadion.

Universitetsholmen is a small artificial island in Malmö harbor, Sweden surrounded by bays and channels, to the west of the railway station. The island got its name in connection with the creation of the Malmö University College. The island is bounded by (clockwise from east) the inner harbor, Suellshamnen, Western Port Channel, Citadellshamnen and the Southern lap pool.
Malmö West Station
Malmö West Station was a railway station in Malmö, Sweden. It was established in 1874 with the creation of the Ystad Line, from 1886 was also operated by the Continental Line. A new and larger station building was built and its use as a station ended in 1955. The station building is currently being used as offices for the City Tunnel project.
Adelgatan
Adelgatan was, together with Östergatan and Västergatan, Malmö's main street from the Middle Ages. During the Middle Ages there were two Adelgatan's. The eldest ran from west to east direction parallel to the beach only a stone's throw from it. It was called in 1392 in Latin "Communis magna platea". It was the city's oldest street, which probably existed as a narrow road even before the city's emergence in 1250s. Today this route is in the Malmöhus Castle area leading up to Drottningtorget.
Fisktorget
Fisktorget or Fisktorg (English: Fish Market) is a former public square in Malmö, Sweden. The square was built in 1894 at Bastion Älvsborg immediately west of Hjälmarbron. Here fish was sold and transported by railway. In 1969 the square was removed and the name was deleted, but the statue "Fish Gumma" (1949) by the sculptor Clarence Blum is reminiscent of the fishing trading spot.
Malmö Synagogue
Malmö Synagogue is the only synagogue in Malmö, Sweden. It was built in 1903 - designed by the architect John Smedberg, and has an Art Nouveau and Moorish Revival design. The services of worship are orthodox.
Malmö University
Malmö University is located in Malmö, Sweden. Malmö University was founded in 1998, and it is Sweden’s ninth largest academic institution. Located in the centre of Malmö at Universitetsholmen, the university has played a central role in the transformation of Malmö from an industrial to a college town. A large part of the campus was constructed on grounds which, up to the mid-1980s, belonged to the Kockums shipyard, which had been a key element of naval-industrial Malmö.
