Livgrenadjärregementet
Livgrenadjärregementet (Life Grenadier Regiment), designations I 4 and I 4/Fo 41, was a Swedish Army infantry regiment that traced its origins back to the 16th century. It was disbanded in 1997. The regiment's soldiers were originally recruited from the provinces of Östergötland, and it was later garrisoned there.

Linköping Municipality
Linköping Municipality (Linköpings kommun) is a municipality in Östergötland County in southern Sweden. Its administrative center is the city of Linköping, with some 94,000 inhabitants. The municipality is bordered in the west by Motala, and thence clockwise by Finspång, Norrköping, Åtvidaberg, Kinda, Boxholm and Mjölby municipalities. The present municipality was formed in 1971 by the amalgamation of the City of Linköping with five surrounding rural municipalities.

Cloetta Center
Cloetta Center is an arena in Linköping, Sweden. It opened in 2004 and holds 8,500 people during sport events and 11,500 during concerts. On its opening it became the new home ice for the ice hockey team Linköpings HC, replacing Stångebro Ishall. Cloetta Center has hosted a Melodifestivalen semi-final three times: in 2005, 2008 and 2011. Some other notable music acts include Deep Purple, Europe, John Fogerty, Toto, W.A.S.P. and Whitesnake.

Stångebro Ishall
Stångebro Ishall is an arena in Linköping, Sweden. It opened in 1975 and after having undergone a series of renovations over the years currently has a capacity of 4,700 people during sport events. It served as home arena for the ice hockey team Linköpings HC until the 2004-05 Elitserien season, when Cloetta Center replaced it. At present it is primarily used as a practise venue for ice hockey and figure skating and for hosting junior level ice hockey games.
Belvederen
Belvederen is a building in Linköping, Sweden. It is located on Kjettilberget (Kjettil-hill) in the center of the town. The hill reaches 45 m over the lake Roxen and is the second highest point in Linköping. The building is 22 m high and was built in 1881. This gives the visitor a vantage point of approximately 67 m. (220 ft. ) Currently the building houses a café and a restaurant.

Downtown Linköping
Downtown Linköping, the Inner City, is the district that includes the center of the city of Linköping. Located here is the commercial and cultural center of the city, with shops, restaurants, bars, shopping mall, museums, churches, libraries, sports facilities, and parks. Also located here is Tinnerbäcksbadet, a heated artificial lake in the middle of the city. Downtown also has a primary school, kindergartens, care centers for the elderly, health centers and specialized healthcare.
Ramshäll
Ramshäll is a relatively centrally located neighborhood in Linköping. The buildings consist mostly of apartment buildings with a very high proportion of small dwellings. Villa area in the northeastern part of Ramshäll, with houses from the turn of the century onwards, is ranked as Östergötland's most expensive residential area. The area includes Berga pasture, a large wooded recreation area, including Linköping's water tower.
Ekholmen
Ekholmen is a residential area in the south of Linköping, Sweden. The area was built in the early 1970s, on land belonging mainly to the farming estates Blästad and Ekholmen, and is located in Landeryd Parish. The area has a shopping mall called Ekholmen center. At the mall, St. Hans Church (consecrated 1973) is located. Fun SkatePark is located at the area's secondary school, Ekholmsskolan. Ekholmen have one of Sweden's largest concrete skateparks.
Ekkällan
Ekkällan is a centrally located district of Linköping. In 2000 the former Ekkällan district was split and Garnisonen was formed, while a few blocks were transferred to the district of Inner City. The area includes Linköping University Hospital, housing, service apartments for seniors, pre-schools, grocery stores, restaurants, pharmacies, emergency center and more. Population in December 2008 was 1 646. Ekkällan adjoining districts of East Valla, Downtown, Ramshäll, Garnisonen and Berga.
Johannelund
Johannelund is a residential suburb with more than 5000 inhabitants in the south of Linköping. Johannelund is adjoining the districts Tannefors, Hackefors, Hjulsbro, Berga, Ekholmen, Vimanshäll and Hejdegården. Johannelund consists of the following areas: Johannelund center, Duvkullen, Spångerum, Lower Johannelund, Upper Johannelund, Tennsoldaten and Braskensbro.
Berga, Linköping
Berga is a residential area in Linköping located in the southern part of the city. The river Tinnerbäcken runs through Berga. Berga has a center with a grocery, hairdresser, cafe, pizzeria, betting shop, clinic, dental services and pharmacy. There is also Berga church that has a circular architecture. The district is known and appreciated for its urban design with nearby nature. There are plans to add more buildings in central parts of Berga.
Garnisonen
Garnisonen ("Garrison") is a district in Linköping, which was previously the site of the two military units closed down in July 1997, Livgrenadjärregementet (I 4) and Svea artilleriregemente (A 1). In 2000, the district was formed by division of Ekkällan. The area is still under development, and there are homes, schools, recreation centers, grocery stores, offices and more.
Hejdegården
Hejdegården is a neighborhood in Linköping. Adjoining districts are Johannelund, Downtown, Tannefors, Vimanshäll and Ramshäll.
Kallerstad
Kallerstad is a district in Linköping, with mostly industrial, commercial and office areas. The district includes Kallerstad, Mörtlösa and Torvinge industrial areas. In 2009, less than a hundred people lived in the area. The district is east of Tornby, on the north side of the rail line, and crossed by Kallerstad trail, which is part of the city's outer ring road. About 60 companies have offices in the area.
Tannefors
Tannefors is a district in Linköping, Sweden. It lies just east of the city center, opposite Stångån. The district's eastern parts are dominated by Saab AB, surrounding industries and Linköping Airport. In Tannefors there is a hold point for trains on the Tjust line and Stångådal line. There is a local football team called Tannefors IF. The schools Kungsbergsskolan and Tanneforsskolan are located here. The districts adjoining Tannefors are Johannelund, Hejdegården, Downtown and Kallerstad.
Ullstämma
Ullstämma is a district in the south of Linköping. The area was expanded primarily in the 1990s. The area also includes the old buildings in Ullstämma village, which also gave the area its name, including the old Ullstämma school, now closed. The area adjacent to the cultivated farmland in the Östergötland plain. Districts adjoining Ullstämma are Hjulsbro, Ekholmen, and Vidingsjö.
Vidingsjö
Vidingsjö is a district in the south of Linköping, Sweden with a population of 4,297 persons (2010). The buildings consist mainly of single-family homes built in the 60s, 70s and 80's. There is a fitness center, a pizzeria and two supermarkets. Tinnerbäcken runs through Vidingsjö. Musician Lars Winnerbäck and comedian Anders Johansson are from Vidinsjö. Arena Linköping
Arena Linköping is a football stadium in Linköping, Sweden. Opened in 2012, the stadium has a capacity of 7500 and will host four matches at the UEFA Women's Euro 2013 tournament. Following the tournament, the stadium will become the home to Linköpings FC women's football team.
