Central Bank bombing
The Central Bank bombing was one of the deadliest terrorist attacks carried out by the LTTE during the Separatist civil war in Sri Lanka between the government and the Tamil Tigers. The attack took place on January 31, 1996, in the Sri Lankan city of Colombo. A lorry (42-6452) containing about 440 pounds of high explosives crashed through the main gate of the Central Bank, a seaside high-rise which managed most of the financial business of the country.

R. Premadasa Stadium
R. Premadasa Stadium (Sinhala: ආර්. ප්රේමදාස ක්රීඩාංගනය, Tamil: ஆர். பிரேமதாச ஸ்டேடியம்; also known as Khettarama Stadium, Ranasinghe Premadasa Stadium or simply as the Premadasa Stadium) is a cricket stadium on Khettarama Road, Maligawatta, Colombo, Sri Lanka. The stadium was, before June 1994, known as the Khettarama Cricket Stadium and is today one of the main venues where the Sri Lankan cricket team play, having hosted more than 100 one day international matches.
HMS Tenedos (H04)
HMS Tenedos was an Admiralty 'S' class destroyer. Laid down on 6 December 1917, she was constructed by Hawthorn Leslie of Tyne, and was completed in 1918. She was commissioned in 1919 and served throughout the interwar period. On December 10, 1941, she became part of the Force Z British Eastern Fleet task force, tasked with disrupting invading Japanese convoys. She was one of the escorts of the capital ships assigned to the mission, HMS Prince of Wales and HMS Repulse.
Sugathadasa Stadium
Sugathadasa Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Colombo, Sri Lanka. It is currently used mostly for football matches and athletic tournaments. The stadium holds 25,000 people, and has an on-site hotel.

Nalanda College Colombo (officially Nalanda Maha Vidalaya) is a government Buddhist school in Colombo, Sri Lanka. The college was established by P. de S. Kularatne as an offshoot of Ananda College Colombo on 1 November 1925.

Murder of Red Cross workers in Sri Lanka happened on June 3, 2007 after two minority Sri Lankan Tamil aid workers were detained by two men claiming to be policemen on June 1, 2007. Their bodies were later found in Ratnapura about 95KM away from the capital.

It was built by construction magnate, Mr. U. N. Gunasekera. The owner is Hotel Services (Ceylon) PLC, which is a subsidiary of Hayleys PLC. The hotel was the first five-star hotel to be built in Sri Lanka. It was refurbished and reopened in January 2013.
Beira Lake

Echelon Barracks
Echelon Barracks was a former military barracks situated in Colombo fort, Colombo. Build during the late nineteenth century as headquarters of the British Army Garrison of Ceylon, it was occupied by the newly formed Ceylon Army, following independence. It was made up of a two-storey barrack blocks, with wide verandahs, formed a square around a parade ground large enough for several football and hockey pitches. This parade ground gained the name Echelon Square adjoining the then old Parliament.
Sri Dharmaloka College
Sri Dharmaloka College is one of the well-established prominent national schools in the Western province of Sri Lanka, situated near the Kelaniya Temple. The school opened in 1938 on the premises of Vidyalankara Pirivena. In the 1950s, the college moved to its current location on the Kelaniya premises. Sri Dharmaloka College has been serving the educational needs of society in a responsible manner for the last seventy years.

Ceylon Electricity Board
The Ceylon Electricity Board (also abbreviated as CEB), is the largest electricity company in Sri Lanka. With a market share of nearly 100%, it controls all major functions of electricity generation, transmission, distribution and retailing in Sri Lanka. Colombo Harbour
The Port of Colombo (known as Port of Kolomtota in the early 14th Century Kotte Kingdom) is the largest and busiest port in Sri Lanka as well as in South Asia. Located in Colombo, on the southwestern shores on the Kelani River, it serves as an important terminal in Asia due to its strategic location in the Indian Ocean. During the 1980s, the port underwent rapid modernization with the installation of Cranes, Gantries and other modern-day terminal requirements.
