The Sinhalese Sports Club Ground (Sinhala: සිංහල ක්රිඩා සමාජ ක්රීඩාංගනය) is one of the most famous cricket grounds in Sri Lanka. It is the headquarters of Sri Lanka Cricket, the controlling body of cricket in Sri Lanka. Built between 1970 and 1973 the convention center was a gift from the People's Republic of China in memory of Solomon Ridgeway Dias Bandaranaike, Prime Minister of Sri Lanka (Ceylon) from 1956 to 1959.

The Colombo University Observatory is the astronomical observatory located at the University of Colombo.
