Barcelona Metro line 4
— Line 4, also known as Trinitat Nova – La Pau, usually called "línia groga" (yellow line), is a line in the Barcelona Metro network operated by TMB, and part of the ATM fare-integrated transport network. It serves the northern districts of the city, and it is being extended to the new major metro and rail stations Estació de la Sagrera and Sagrera-Meridiana.

Trinitat Nova (Barcelona Metro)
Trinitat Nova is a Barcelona metro station located in the neighbourhood of the same name, in the Nou Barris district. It was opened in 1999, as part of the project to effectively link this relatively remote area in northern Barcelona with the city centre, becoming the northern terminus of L4. It's located underground of Carrer Aiguablava. L11 was opened in 2003, as a light rail extension to L4, serving the dense and hilly area spanning from Trinitat Nova towards Can Cuiàs.
La Guineueta, Barcelona
La Guineueta ("The Little Vixen") is one of the nine original neighbourhoods that gave name to the district Nou Barris (literally, nine neighbourhoods) in Barcelona. Actually, the district have 13 neighbourhoods. Its size is about 57 ha. located between Parc Central dels Nou Barris and Parc de la Guineueta, and between Plaça de Karl Marx and Plaça de Llucmajor. Modern construction in the area began in the 1950s, and was settled by migrants from other parts of Spain.
Sant Andreu
Sant Andreu is one of the ten districts into which Barcelona has been divided up since 1984. It was named after a former municipality in the plain of Barcelona called Sant Andreu de Palomar, the largest in the area, which makes up nowadays the bulk of a neighbourhood bearing the same name. A separate district, Nou Barris, includes some of the former area of Sant Andreu de Palomar. Its size is 653 ha. (third district in size) and it had 142,598 inhabitants in 2005.
Canyelles (Barcelona Metro)
Canyelles is the name of a Barcelona metro station. It's located in the Nou Barris district. It was built in 2001 when the line was extended northbound from Montbau metro station, it lies under Carrer de Federico García Lorca and Via Favència-Ronda de Dalt and is considerably more modern-looking than most of the city's remarkably sober stations. It has two accesses, one on each side of the station.
La Sagrera-Meridiana station
La Sagrera-Meridiana, also known as simply La Sagrera, is an important station for Rodalies de Catalunya and one of the largest and busiest stations in Barcelona Metro network. It is located under Avinguda Meridiana, in Barcelona's neighborhood of La Sagrera. It is served by Rodalies de Catalunya suburban railway lines R3, R4, R7 and regional line R12, and it is also served by TMB-operated Barcelona Metro lines L1, L5, L9 and L10.

Congrés (Barcelona Metro)
Congrés is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Carrer Garcilaso, between Carrer Matanzas and Carrer Francesc Tàrrega Claret. It was opened in 1959. The side-platform station has a ticket hall on either end, each with one access.
Maragall (Barcelona Metro)
Maragall is a station serving line 4 and line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The line 5 station was opened in 1959 under Passeig Maragall, between Carrer Varsòvia and Carrer Mascaró. The curved central platform has a ticket hall at either end, the southern one giving access to the line 4 station. This part, opened in 1982, is a side-platform station located under Ronda Guinardó between Carrer Lluís Sagnier (corner Carrer Agregació) and Carrer del Segle XX, and has one vestibule of its own.

Virrei Amat is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Plaça Virrei Amat, between Carrer Felip II and Carrer Varsòvia. It was opened in 1959. The curved side-platform station has a ticket hall on either end, each with two accesses.
Vilapicina (Barcelona Metro)
Vilapicina is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Passeig Fabra i Puig, between Carrer Teide and Carrer Petrarca. It was opened in 1959, and served as a terminus until the opening of Horta in 1967. The station has a ticket hall on either end, one with two accesses, the other with one. The station has two platforms and three tracks, the outermost one leading to the nearby train depot.
Sant Andreu Comtal railway station
Sant Andreu Comtal is an Adif-operated railway station in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona. It's served by Rodalies Barcelona and a number of regional trains from the line Barcelona-Portbou-Cerbère. Passengers can also commute here to Barcelona Metro line 1 station Sant Andreu. It's located completely over ground. Sant Andreu Comtal railway station used to have up to 10 railtracks, which were decreased to 2 in year 2010 because of the AVE works between Barcelona and the French border.
Sant Andreu Arenal railway station
Sant Andreu Arenal is a railway station in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona. It's served by Rodalies Barcelona and one Catalunya Exprés service. Passengers can also commute here to Barcelona Metro line 1 station Fabra i Puig and the Sant Andreu bus terminal. It's located where Avinguda Meridiana and Avinguda de Rio de Janeiro meet, by Rambla de Fabra i Puig.
Fabra i Puig (Barcelona Metro)
Fabra i Puig is a Barcelona Metro station, on L1 (red line), located in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, below Avinguda Meridiana between Carrer de Concepció Arenal i Passeig de Fabra i Puig. It opened in 1954, with the extension of the aforementioned line from Sagrera to this station. Passengers can commute here for the Renfe-operated Sant Andreu Arenal railway station. It's named after Passeig de Fabra i Puig, one of the main thoroughfares of the area.
Torras i Bages (Barcelona Metro)
Torras i Bages is a station of the Barcelona Metro, on L1 (red line). Opened in 1968, it serves the northern part of the Sant Andreu de Palomar neighbourhood in the Sant Andreu district, and was one of the termini of this subway line until 1983, when it was extended into Santa Coloma de Gramenet. The station doesn't include accessibility facilities as of 2008. It has two 107 m.

Roquetes (Barcelona Metro)
Roquetes is a Barcelona Metro station, on line L3. It opened on October 4, 2008 as part of the extension of the metro line from Canyelles into Trinitat Nova. Owing its name to the Roquetes neighbourhood, in the Nou Barris district, the station can be accessed from carrer Jaume Pinent, carrer de les Torres and Parc de Roquetes, near carrer Vidal i Guasch. It's a mixture of a ground-level station with the current deepest sub-surface platform in the system.
Via Júlia (Barcelona Metro)
Via Júlia is a Barcelona Metro station, on L4. It opened in 1982 but didn't take its current name until 1999; before then it was known as Roquetes (name recently retaken by another station). It's located in the Roquetes area of the Nou Barris district, underneath Via Júlia, an important road in the area, between two streets: carrer de Joaquim Valls and carrer d'Argullós and can be accessed from both sides of the road.
Llucmajor (Barcelona Metro)
Llucmajor is a Barcelona Metro station, on L4. Part of the extension of that line from Guinardó into Nou Barris opened in 1982, it takes its name from Plaça de Llucmajor, the central square of the district. It's located under Passeig de Verdum, between the streets carrer de Lorena and carrer de Formentor, and can be accessed from that intersection and from Jardins d'Alfàbia.

Plaça de Llucmajor is a square in Barcelona, unofficially regarded as the nucleus of its Nou Barris district. It's the intersection of three avenues: Passeig de Valldaura, Passeig de Verdum and Via Júlia, Barcelona. Besides, it's the official border between four neighbourhoods of the district: Guineueta, Prosperitat, Porta and Verdum.

1987 Hipercor bombing
The 1987 Hipercor bombing was a car bomb attack by the Basque separatist organisation ETA which occurred on 19 June 1987 at the Hipercor shopping centre on Avinguda Meridiana, Barcelona, Spain. The bombing killed 21 people and injured 45. This represents the deadliest attack in ETA's history Controversy surrounded the timing of telephone warnings made before the attack and the authorities response to them.
Onze de Setembre (Barcelona Metro)
Onze de Setembre is a Barcelona Metro station named after Rambla Onze de Setembre, one of the main streets in the neighbourhood of Sant Andreu de Palomar where it is located, part of Barcelona's district of Sant Andreu. It was opened with the opening of the L9/L10 section between Bon Pastor and La Sagrera stations on 26 June 2010. It is served by TMB-operated Barcelona Metro lines L9 and L10.
Casa Bloc
The Casa Bloc is a residential building built between 1932 and 1936 found in the Sant Andreu district of the city of Barcelona. Its architects were Josep Lluís Sert (1902–1983), Josep Torres Clavé (1906–1939) and Joan Baptista Subirana (1904–1978), all members of GATCPAC (Catalan Group of Architects and Technicians for the Progress of Contemporary Architecture).
