Besòs (river)
The Besòs is a river flowing through Catalonia, Spain, formed by the confluence of the Mogent and Congost rivers. It ends in the Mediterranean. Its full watershed includes the following cities: Aiguafreda, La Garriga, Sant Fost de Campsantelles, Canovelles, Granollers, Montmeló, Mollet del Vallès, Montcada i Reixac, Santa Coloma de Gramenet, Barcelona and Sant Adrià de Besòs. Due to its Mediterranean climate, the river can have an extreme discrepancies in flow depending on the weather.
Barcelona Metro line 4
— Line 4, also known as Trinitat Nova – La Pau, usually called "línia groga" (yellow line), is a line in the Barcelona Metro network operated by TMB, and part of the ATM fare-integrated transport network. It serves the northern districts of the city, and it is being extended to the new major metro and rail stations Estació de la Sagrera and Sagrera-Meridiana.
Trinitat Nova (Barcelona Metro)
Trinitat Nova is a Barcelona metro station located in the neighbourhood of the same name, in the Nou Barris district. It was opened in 1999, as part of the project to effectively link this relatively remote area in northern Barcelona with the city centre, becoming the northern terminus of L4. It's located underground of Carrer Aiguablava. L11 was opened in 2003, as a light rail extension to L4, serving the dense and hilly area spanning from Trinitat Nova towards Can Cuiàs.
Sant Andreu
Sant Andreu is one of the ten districts into which Barcelona has been divided up since 1984. It was named after a former municipality in the plain of Barcelona called Sant Andreu de Palomar, the largest in the area, which makes up nowadays the bulk of a neighbourhood bearing the same name. A separate district, Nou Barris, includes some of the former area of Sant Andreu de Palomar. Its size is 653 ha. (third district in size) and it had 142,598 inhabitants in 2005.
Trinitat Vella (Barcelona Metro)
Trinitat Vella is the name of a station in the Barcelona metro network, currently served by the TMB-operated L1. It's named after the neighbourhood Trinitat Vella, in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona, and the park of the same name. It's quite unusual in being one of the few stations with an attached building overground, which lies on the Nus de la Trinitat and links the neighbourhood with Parc de la Trinitat.
Torre Baró-Vallbona (Barcelona Metro)
Torre Baró-Vallbona is a station on line 11 of the Barcelona Metro, serving the neighbourhoods Torre Baró and Vallbona of the Nou Barris district of Barcelona. While most of this short line is underground and single-track, Torre Baró-Vallbona is open and, as the middle station on the line, has a double track to permit trains to pass one another.
Ciutat Meridiana (Barcelona Metro)

Sant Andreu Comtal is an Adif-operated railway station in the Sant Andreu district of Barcelona. It's served by Rodalies Barcelona and a number of regional trains from the line Barcelona-Portbou-Cerbère. Passengers can also commute here to Barcelona Metro line 1 station Sant Andreu. It's located completely over ground. Sant Andreu Comtal railway station used to have up to 10 railtracks, which were decreased to 2 in year 2010 because of the AVE works between Barcelona and the French border.
Santa Coloma (Barcelona Metro)
Santa Coloma is a Barcelona Metro station in Santa Coloma de Gramenet, a municipality of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It's served by L1 (red line). It opened in 1983 and is located under Passeig Llorenç Serra. Platforms are 99 m long.
Torre Baró railway station
Torre Baró is a railway station in the Nou Barris district of Barcelona. It was opened in the 1970s and, since 2003, interconnected with the Barcelona Metro station Torre Baró-Vallbona. It's served by a Catalunya exprés service and three Rodalies Barcelona commuter train lines.
Torras i Bages (Barcelona Metro)
Torras i Bages is a station of the Barcelona Metro, on L1 (red line). Opened in 1968, it serves the northern part of the Sant Andreu de Palomar neighbourhood in the Sant Andreu district, and was one of the termini of this subway line until 1983, when it was extended into Santa Coloma de Gramenet. The station doesn't include accessibility facilities as of 2008. It has two 107 m.

Roquetes (Barcelona Metro)
Roquetes is a Barcelona Metro station, on line L3. It opened on October 4, 2008 as part of the extension of the metro line from Canyelles into Trinitat Nova. Owing its name to the Roquetes neighbourhood, in the Nou Barris district, the station can be accessed from carrer Jaume Pinent, carrer de les Torres and Parc de Roquetes, near carrer Vidal i Guasch. It's a mixture of a ground-level station with the current deepest sub-surface platform in the system.
Via Júlia (Barcelona Metro)
Via Júlia is a Barcelona Metro station, on L4. It opened in 1982 but didn't take its current name until 1999; before then it was known as Roquetes (name recently retaken by another station). It's located in the Roquetes area of the Nou Barris district, underneath Via Júlia, an important road in the area, between two streets: carrer de Joaquim Valls and carrer d'Argullós and can be accessed from both sides of the road.
Baró de Viver (Barcelona Metro)
Baró de Viver is a station of the Barcelona Metro, in the Baró de Viver area of Sant Andreu, a northern district of Barcelona. It's served by L1 (red line) and operated by Transports Metropolitans de Barcelona (TMB). The station opened in 1983 as the line grew from its terminus in Torras i Bages towards the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet. It's located under the southern side of the busy Nus de la Trinitat, next to the Besòs river bank.
Can Peixauet (Barcelona Metro)
Can Peixauet is the name of a Barcelona Metro line 9 station named after Avinguda de Can Peixauet, situated in Santa Coloma de Gramenet municipality. The station was opened in December 2009 with the opening of the line from Can Zam to this station. It is located under Avinguda de Can Peixauet and Avinguda de Santa Coloma, and it was built like many other new L9 metro stations with a 40-metres-depth and 25-metres-diameter well.

Can Zam is the name of a Barcelona Metro station in the municipality of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, in the northern part of the metropolitan area of Barcelona. The station is located at the intersection of Avinguda Francesc Macià and Carrer Balmes. It's served by L9, the first part of line 9 to be opened, between Can Zam and Can Peixauet, both in Santa Coloma. Its inauguration took place on 13 December 2009.
Bon Pastor (Barcelona Metro)

Balldovina Tower Museum
The Balldovina Tower Museum of Santa Coloma de Gramenet, is a local pluridisciplinary museum, the aim of which is to protect, conserve, study and disseminate the cultural and natural heritage of the territory. The Museum, which is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network, looks after its own collections as well as the monumental heritage of the town of Santa Coloma.
Casa Bloc
The Casa Bloc is a residential building built between 1932 and 1936 found in the Sant Andreu district of the city of Barcelona. Its architects were Josep Lluís Sert (1902–1983), Josep Torres Clavé (1906–1939) and Joan Baptista Subirana (1904–1978), all members of GATCPAC (Catalan Group of Architects and Technicians for the Progress of Contemporary Architecture).
