1992 Summer Olympics
The 1992 Summer Olympic Games, officially known as the Games of the XXV Olympiad, were an international multi-sport event celebrated in Barcelona, Spain, in 1992. The International Olympic Committee voted in 1986 to separate the Summer and Winter Games, which had been held in the same year since 1924, and place them in alternating even-numbered years, beginning in 1994. The 1992 Summer Games were the last to be staged in the same year as the Winter Games.

Montjuïc Communications Tower
The Montjuïc Communications Tower, popularly known as Torre Calatrava and Torre Telefónica, is a telecommunication tower in the Montjuïc neighborhood of Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. Designed by Santiago Calatrava, construction on the tower began in 1989 and was completed in 1992. The white tower was built for Telefónica to transmit television coverage of the 1992 Summer Olympics Games in Barcelona.

The maximum seating capacity of the arena is 16,500 for handball, 17,000 for basketball, and 24,000 for musical events. It was opened in 1990 and designed by Japanese architect Arata Isozaki.

Gornal is the name of a station in the Barcelona Metro network located in Gornal, a neighbourhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, served by FGC metro line L8, as well by some other FGC lines collectively known as Metro del Baix Llobregat and two RENFE lines, in which the station is known as Bellvitge, due to the proximity of this neighbourhood to Bellvitge.
Ildefons Cerdà (Barcelona Metro)
Ildefons Cerdà is a station in the Barcelona Metro network, served by FGC-operated L8, among other Rodalies Barcelona and FGC suburban lines. It's not properly in Plaça d'Ildefons Cerdà (a square in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona proper, but just next to L'Hospitalet de Llobregat) but in the L'Hospitalet part of Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes. It was built in 1987. It's also due to become part of future L10.
Mercat Nou (Barcelona Metro)
Mercat Nou is a station of the Barcelona Metro. It's served by L1 (red line). Built in 1926, it was one of the system's few open-air stations before being demolished and rebuilt due to the revamping of the metro and Renfe railway lines in the area. Two AVE lines cross the area right underneath the station on their way to Sants Estació. The station reopened in June 2009, after nearly two years of closure. According to Barcelona City Council the work cost €15.6 million.
Santa Eulàlia (Barcelona Metro)
Santa Eulàlia is a station on line 1 of the Barcelona Metro, in the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Built in 1983, it is partially aboveground and the platforms are supplied with natural light. It has two accesses, one above and one below the station (Pont de La Torrassa and Riera Blanca, respectively).

Europa | Fira is the name of a station in the Barcelona Metro and FGC commuter train networks, on fare zone 1. It's located underneath Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes by Plaça Europa and Carrer d'Amadeu Torner in the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, in the metropolitan area of Barcelona. One of the newest additions to the Llobregat-Anoia FGC service, also known as Metro del Baix Llobregat, it opened on May 13, 2007, and is expected to be part of future TMB metro line L9.
Anella Olímpica
The Anella Olímpica ("Olympic Ring") is an Olympic Park located in the hill of Montjuïc, Barcelona, that was the main site for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The major facilities consist of the Olympic Stadium, or Estadi Olímpic Lluís Companys, the Palau Sant Jordi sports hall, the telecommunications tower designed by Santiago Calatrava, the National Physical Education Institute (INEFC) and the Picornell swimming pools.
Bellvitge (Barcelona Metro)
Bellvitge is a Barcelona Metro station in the Bellvitge neighbourhood of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. The station opened in 1989 with the completion of the Avinguda Carrilet-Hospital de Bellvitge section of L1. Passengers can change here for the Renfe railway station of the same name. It is located under Rambla de la Marina and can be accessed from both sides of the road. The platforms in this station are 96 m. long.
Plaça d'Ildefons Cerdà, Barcelona
Plaça d'Ildefons Cerdà (often known simply as Plaça Cerdà) is a square in Barcelona, part of La Bordeta, in the Sants-Montjuïc district, very close to the boundary of the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. It's named after the city's renowned urban planner Ildefons Cerdà. It is essentially a large roundabout which connects different parts of the city.
Bellvitge
Bellvitge is a mostly working-class neighborhood in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, belonging to the metropolitan area of Barcelona. It is part of L'Hospitalet's District VI, along with Gornal. Bellvitge is situated at a height of 4 to 8 meters above sea level. It borders the cities of Cornellà de Llobregat, El Prat de Llobregat and Barcelona on the west and south; El Gornal neighborhood in the east, with El Centre to the north.
Magòria-La Campana (Barcelona Metro)

The station is located underneath Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes.

Piscines Bernat Picornell
Piscines Bernat Picornell (English: Bernat Picornell Pools) is a swimming venue situated in the Olympic Ring in Montjuïc, Barcelona. The venue consists of three swimming pools: a 50m indoor pool, a 50m outdoor pool, and a pool for diving. It hosted the swimming events, synchronized swimming events, the water polo final, and the swimming part of the modern pentathlon event for the 1992 Summer Olympics. The swimming pools are of public use and are open all year long.

Ciutat de la Justícia de Barcelona i l'Hospitalet de Llobregat or just Ciutat de la Justícia is a recent architectural development in the Sants-Montjuïc district of Barcelona and its immediately adjacent suburb l'Hospitalet de Llobregat, on Gran Via de les Corts Catalanes 642 near Plaça d'Ildefons Cerdà and Plaça d'Europa. It hosts most of the legal departments of the metropolitan area, which were previously located in 17 separate buildings scattered around both cities.
Plaza de Europa
Plaza de Europa is a square in the District VII of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Located on the Granvia de l'Hospitalet avenue at the intersection with Carrer d'Amadeu Torner. It's part of L'Hospitalet's recent urban development, and one of its biggest squares at 33 ha, with a distinguishable skyline made up of high-rises, among the tallest structures in the city, some of which are designed by the renowned architect Toyo Ito.
