MareNostrum
MareNostrum is a supercomputer in the Barcelona Supercomputing Center, the second most powerful in Spain. It was presented by IBM and María Jesús San Segundo, the Spanish Minister of Education and Science. It's one of the seven supercomputers of the Spanish Supercomputing Network. The supercomputer consists of 2,560 JS21 blade computing nodes, each with 2 dual-core IBM 64-bit PowerPC 970MP processors running at 2.3 GHz for 10,240 CPUs in total.

Mini Estadi is a football stadium located in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. The 15,276 seat stadium is situated across from Camp Nou, the home stadium of FC Barcelona. The stadium was home to FC Barcelona C until July 2007, when they disbanded. It has also been home to the Barcelona Dragons, an NFL Europe American football team, until they were disbanded in 2003. Camp de Les Corts
Camp de Les Corts, commonly referred to as Les Corts, was a sports stadium in Barcelona, Catalonia, Spain. It was the home ground for FC Barcelona until the club moved to the Camp Nou in 1957. Les Corts was built as a result of a long-term plan by the club president, Joan Gamper, to provide FC Barcelona with its own stadium. It replaced the Camp del carrer Indústria as the home of FC Barcelona. Inaugurated in 1922, the initial capacity was 20,000.
Palau Reial (Barcelona Metro)
Palau Reial is a station in the Barcelona Metro network, part of L3 (green line). It is located under Avinguda Diagonal, between Carrer del Tinent Coronel Valenzuela and the Biology faculty of University of Barcelona. The station draws its name from the nearby minor royal palace in Pedralbes built for Alfonso XIII in 1924, part of which nowadays hosts a Museum of Decorative Arts. The station itself was built in 1975. It's not far from a Trambaix station bearing the same name.
Mercat Nou (Barcelona Metro)
Mercat Nou is a station of the Barcelona Metro. It's served by L1 (red line). Built in 1926, it was one of the system's few open-air stations before being demolished and rebuilt due to the revamping of the metro and Renfe railway lines in the area. Two AVE lines cross the area right underneath the station on their way to Sants Estació. The station reopened in June 2009, after nearly two years of closure. According to Barcelona City Council the work cost €15.6 million.
Collblanc (Barcelona Metro)
Collblanc is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Carretera de Collblanc in L'Hospitalet de Llobregat, between Travessera de les Corts and Carrer Francesc Layret. It was opened in 1969 and served as terminus until the extension to Pubilla Cases in 1973. The name of the station was "San Ramón" (in Spanish) or "Sant Ramon" till the mid 1980s. It's due to become part of future lines L9 and L10 as well.
Badal (Barcelona Metro)
Badal is a station on line 5 of the Barcelona Metro. The station is located underneath Carrer de Sants, between Carrer Arizala and Carrer Sant Feliu de Guíxols. It was opened in 1969. The side-platform station has a ticket hall on either end, the western one with two accesses at Carrer Arizala and Carrer Carreras Candi, the eastern one with one access at Carrer de Sants.

Santa Eulàlia is a station on line 1 of the Barcelona Metro, in the municipality of L'Hospitalet de Llobregat. Built in 1983, it is partially aboveground and the platforms are supplied with natural light. Palau Reial de Pedralbes
The Palau Reial de Pedralbes is a building placed in the middle of an ample garden in the district of Les Corts, in Barcelona. From 1919 until 1931 it was the residence for the Spanish Royal Family when they visited the city. The Institute of Earth Sciences Jaume Almera (original name in Spanish Instituto de Ciencias de la Tierra Jaume Almera, ICTJA) is an earth science public research institute of the Consejo Superior de Investigaciones Científicas. It was created in Barcelona (Spain) in 1965 and it is considered among the top research institutes in Earth Sciences in Spain. Also known in Catalan as Institut de Ciències de la Terra Jaume Almera, it was created as Instituto de Geología de Barcelona.
