Palau d'Esports de Granollers
Palau d'Esports de Granollers is an arena in Granollers, Catalonia. It is primarily used for team handball and is the home arena of BM Granollers. The arena, projected by the Catalan architect Pep Bonet, holds 5,685 people and was opened in 1991 for the 1992 Summer Olympics. During those games, they hosted the handball competitions. It is managed by the city of Granollers.

The Cardadeu Tomàs Balvey Museum-Archive (Catalan: Museu-Arxiu Tomàs Balvey), in Cardedeu, Vallès Oriental, is organised around the legacy of Tomàs Balvey i Bas (1865–1954), the last of a line of apothecaries in Cardedeu. The theme of the museum is based on the pharmacy and its pharmacist, focusing on the world of illness, remedies and health. The Museum-Archive is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network and of the Catalan Pharmacy Museum Network.
Museu de la Pagesia
The Museu de la Pagesia (Rural Life Museum), in Castellbisbal, Vallès Occidental, was created to preserve and disseminate local cultural heritage associated with agricultural life. The Museum’s collection comprises homemade tools and those for use in the field, photographs and personal accounts, which create a permanent exhibition that gives an overview of traditional farming in the town, work in the field and the social structure of rural life.
Granollers Museum
The Granollers Museum is a heterogeneous collection comprising archaeology, decorative arts, ethnography, numismatics and ancient, modern and contemporary art. The Museum, which is part of the Barcelona Provincial Council Local Museum Network, coordinates and supports a major part of the archaeological excavations taking place in the region of El Vallès Oriental, while promoting awareness and protection of local cultural heritage.
Granollers Museum of Natural Sciences
The Granollers Museum of Natural Sciences, in Granollers, El Vallès Oriental, covers the fields of palaeontology, geology, botany, meteorology, and, in particular, zoology. In addition, the Museum is the headquarters of the El Montseny Natural Park Documentation Centre (the natural sciences section) and of the Catalan Butterfly Monitoring Scheme and manages the Granollers Meteorological Station and the Can Cabanyes Environmental Education Centre.
Battle of Cardadeu
The Battle of Cardadeu on 16 December 1808 saw an Imperial French corps led by Laurent Gouvion Saint-Cyr assault a Spanish force commanded by Juan Miguel de Vives y Feliu and Theodor von Reding. Saint-Cyr won the engagement by forming most of his troops into a gigantic attack column and smashing through the Spanish lines. Cardedeu is located 17 kilometres northeast of Barcelona, Spain. The action occurred during the Peninsular War, part of the Napoleonic Wars.
High Speed Railway Bridge over AP7, Llinars del Valles
The Llinars Bridge this bridge is the first steel structure in the high-speed railway (HSR) joining Barcelona and the French Border. The 1883 ft (574 m) long Llinars HSR bridge comprises two parts: a 1008 ft (307 m) long composite steel–concrete structure crossing the highway, and a continuous prestressed concrete bridge crossing the Mogent River with a maximum span of 157 ft (48 m).
