Zumaia
Zumaia is a small town in the north of Spain in the Basque Country. The Mayor is Iñaki Agirrezabala, member of Eusko Alkartasuna and Gazte Abertzaleak. The town has two beaches (Itzurun and Santiago), which are of interest to geologists because they are situated among the longest set of continuous rock strata in the world. Known locally as the "flysch" they date from the mid-cretaceous period to the present, a time period of over 100 million years.

Praileaitz Cave
The Praileaitz Cave (Basque for Rock of the Monk cave) is located in the municipality of Deba. Early in August 2006, various paleolithic cave paintings were found during an archaeological excavation - a non-figurative iconographic grouping made up of smaller groups of red dots, either isolated or forming a series. Researchers have surmised that the paintings were done around 18,000 years ago.
Oria (river)
The Oria is a river in the Basque Country at the north of the Iberian Peninsula. It's one of a series of Basque rivers flowing into the Bay of Biscay and the main river of the province Gipuzkoa in volume (25.6 m/s), length (75 km) and basin (882.5 km), the main feature of these rivers aligned south to north being their shortness. The maximum elevation at the source is 1,260 m, while at its lowest height the tidal influence extends inland up to Usurbil (estuary).

Sanctuary of Loyola
The Sanctuary of Loyola or Shrine and Basilica of Loyola is a monumental and religious complex built around the birthplace of Ignatius of Loyola (known to Catholics as St. Ignatius of Loyola), founder of the Society of Jesus, known as the Jesuits. It is located in the Loyola district of the Azpeitia municipality in the Guipuzcoa province of the Basque Country, in Spain. The sanctuary is located along the Urola river between the towns of Azpeitia and Azkoitia.
