Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) (Korean: 한국 방송 공사, Hanguk Bangsong Gongsa) is a South Korean radio and television network, founded in 1927. It is the biggest out of the four major South Korean television networks.
Yoido Full Gospel Church
Yoido Full Gospel Church is a Pentecostal church affiliated with the Assemblies of God on Yeouido (Yoi Island) in Seoul, South Korea. With about 1,000,000 members (2007), it is the largest Pentecostal Christian congregation in South Korea, and the world. Founded and led by David Yonggi Cho since 1958.
National Assembly (South Korea)
The National Assembly is the 300-member unicameral legislature of South Korea. The latest legislative elections were held on 11 April 2012. Single-member constituencies comprise 246 of the assembly's seats, while the remaining 54 are allocated by proportional representation. Members serve four-year terms. The unicameral assembly consists of at least 200 members according to the Constitution.
Sogang University
Sogang University is one of the leading research and liberal arts universities in Seoul, South Korea. The university was established in 1960 by the Society of Jesus to provide education based on the Catholic beliefs and inspired by the Jesuit education philosophy, such as Georgetown University in the U.S. , Sophia University in Japan, and Ateneo de Manila University in the Philippines.
Sinchon Station
Sinchon Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2 in Mapo-gu, north of the Han River. It is located between Hongik University Station and Ewha Womans University Station. It is the closest station to Sogang University, Yonsei University and Hyundai Department Store Sinchon.
Dangsan Station
Dangsan Station is an elevated station on the Seoul Subway Line 2. The station is located on the south bank of the Han River in Yeongdeungpo-gu. Because the station is elevated, trains exiting to or entering from the north make use of the Dangsan Railway Bridge. As of April 2009, the platform has been outfitted with platform screen doors. Dangsan station is currently a transfer point between Line 2 and Seoul Subway Line 9.
Hongik University Station
Hongik University Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 2 as well as the AREX and Gyeongui lines. As its name indicates, it serves the nearby Hongik University. It is formerly known as Donggyo Station, named after the neighborhood that it serves. As of December 2010, it has become a transfer station to A'REX and also was connected to the Gyeongui Line.
National Assembly Building
The National Assembly Building (Korean: 국회의사당, 國會議事堂, Gukhoe-uisadang) is the building that serves as the location of the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea, the legislative branch of the South Korean national government. It is located at Yeouido-dong, Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. The current building was completed in 1975. Before 1975 the South Korean government used the General-Government Building.
Yanghwa Bridge
The Yanghwa Bridge (양화대교) is an eight lane bridge spanning the Han River in Seoul. The bridge connects Mapo-gu on the north side of the river to Yeongdeungpo-gu on the south side of the river. The bridge is buttressed by the eastern end of the island of Seonyudo, home to Seonyudo Park (선유도공원). The bridge is a combination of two bridges: the old bridge, originally called the "Second Han River Bridge" (제2한강교), completed in 1965; and the new bridge, completed in 1982.
Dangsan Railway Bridge
The Dangsan Railway Bridge (당산철교) crosses the Han River in Seoul. It is used exclusively by Seoul Subway Line 2. Immediately on the south side of the bridge is Dangsan Station in Yeongdeungpo-gu, which is on an elevated platform. Hapjeong Station, a subterranean station in Mapo-gu, is located approximately 600 meters north of where the bridge makes landfall.
Hapjeong Station
Hapjeong Station is a subterranean station of Seoul Subway Line 2 and Seoul Subway Line 6. The station is located just north of the Han River in Mapo-gu. The station is the southern end of Hongdae area, which is the mecca of urban arts and indie music culture of Seoul. It is closest to the historical site of Jeoldu-san, a place where over 10,000 Koreans of the Roman Catholic faith were beheaded in 1866 under the orders of Daewon-gun.
Seogang Bridge
Seogang Bridge or Grand Seogang Bridge is a bridge over the Han River in Seoul, South Korea. The bridge links the Mapo and Yeongdeungpo districts. Bamseom
Bamseom is a pair of islets in the River Han in Seoul, South Korea. The uninhabited islets, with a total area of 241,000m² and length of 1,147 metres, are located between the larger island of Yeouido, to which they were once connected, and the north shore. They remain connected to one another by a narrow strip of sedimentary silt. Seogang Bridge passes directly over the western islet, though there is no access available, as the islets have been left as a natural sanctuary.
Nodeulseom
Nodeulseom an artificial island in the River Han in Seoul, South Korea. The uninhabited island is located to the east of the larger island of Yeouido. Hangang Bridge passes directly over the island.
Daeheung Station
Daeheung Station is a subway station on the Subway Line 6 in Seoul, South Korea.
Gwangheungchang Station
Gwangheungchang Station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 6. It is located close to the northern end of Seogang Bridge, which links Sinchon and Yeouido. Bamseom, located under the bridge on the Han River, is visible from here.
Sangsu Station
Sangsu Station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 6. Along with Hongik University Station on Line 2, it serves the area commonly called Hongdae, albeit geographically less convenient.
Mapo-gu Office Station
Mapo-gu Office Station is the station near Mapo district office. In 2000, the station opened and in December, Line 6 expanded its area once again with 5 entrances.
Yeouido Airport
Yeouido Airport was an International Airport in Yeouido, Seoul city. It operated from 1929 to 1958. It was closed prior to the opening of Seoul Air Base.

KBS Hall is a part of the Korean Broadcasting System headquarters, located in Yeouido, Seoul, South Korea.

Mapo Bridge
The Mapo Bridge crosses the Han River in South Korea and connects the districts of Mapo District and Yeongdeungpo District. The bridge was completed in 1970. Until 1984, the bridge was called Seoul Bridge.

Yanghwajin Foreigners' Cemetery
Yanghwajin, also known as the Hapjeong-dong International Cemetery, is a cemetery overlooking the Han River in the district of Mapo-gu, Seoul, South Korea. Designated in 1890 as a site for foreign missionaries by King Gojong, the site is currently open to the public from 9:00am to 6:00pm and is located next to Jeoldusan Martyr's Shrine. It is estimated that approximately 30,000 Koreans and 500 foreigners visit every year.
