Korea under Japanese rule
Korea under Imperial Japanese rule refers to the culmination of a process begun in 1876 whereby a complex coalition of Meiji Government officials, Business officials and Military officials sought to subjugate Korea both politically and economically as a "protectorate" after the fashion of International Law at the time.
Daejin University
Daejin University is a private university in Pocheon City, Gyeonggi province of South Korea. About 200 instructors are employed. The current president is Chung, Tae Soo, who has served since the university's founding. The university operates Daejin University China Campus, a study abroad program based at the campuses of two universities in the People's Republic of China: Soochow University in Suzhou, and Harbin Normal University in Harbin.
Korea University
Korea University is a nonsectarian, private research university located primarily in Seoul, South Korea, and one of the SKY universities, a historical acronym used in South Korea to refer to Seoul National University, Korea University, and Yonsei University that are widely regarded as prestigious three universities in the country. Founded by Lee Yong-Ik in the present-day town of Susong in 1905, the school moved to Anam in 1934.

Only a moments walk from the station is Gyeongdong Market, a large, well known medicinal market, and the Seoul Yangnyeongsi Herb Medicine Museum http://museum. ddm. go. kr/, a free museum dedicated to educating visitors about traditional Korean medicine.
Cheongnyangni 588
Cheongnyangni 588 is a red light district in Seoul, South Korea near Cheongnyangni station. Cheongnyangni is often referred to as "Oh Pal Pal", meaning "five eight eight" in Korean due to a bus which once passed through the area. The Cheongnyangni district is mentioned in several works of fiction and non-fiction as the setting for a crime drama Seoul: Lost in the big city and also in the book In Search of Life.

Yongdu Station is a station on the Seongsu Branch of the Seoul Subway Line 2. This station is located in Yongdu-dong, Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul.
Cheongnyangni Station
Cheongnyangni Station (청량리역) is a station of Seoul Subway Line 1 and Metro Jungang Line of the Seoul Subway network and it is a Seoul terminus of passenger trains serving the eastern part of South Korea. In the distant future, this station will become the northeastern terminus of the Sin Ansan Line and be the starting station of the future Myeonmokseon LRT. Way for transfer between underground and aboveground station opened in 20 August, 2010.
Hansung University Station
Hansung University Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 4. It is also called Samseongyo Station. The university with the same name is about a half-mile away from this station. The Holy Spirit Campus of the Catholic University of Korea is located closer, to the southwest.
Sungshin Women's University Station
Sungshin Women's University Station is a station on the Line 4 of the Seoul Subway. As its name indicates, it serves the nearby Sungshin Women's University. A light rail line (currently under construction) linking Ui-dong in northern Seoul and Sinseol-dong will transfer with Line 4 at this station in the future. The Ui LRT is scheduled to open in 2014.
Sinseol-dong Station
Sinseol-dong Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 1 and the Seongsu Branch of Seoul Subway Line 2. There is a piece of track that connects the Line 1 and Line 2 stations, and Line 1 trains belonging to Seoul Metro are serviced at the Gunja Train Depot behind Yongdap Station using this connective track. There is a 'secret' unused platform on the B3 floor of this station; this used to be the original Line 2 platform.
Dongmyo Station
Dongmyo Station is a station on the Seoul Subway Line 1 and Line 6. It is named after a nearby shrine, built during the Joseon dynasty to honor Guan Yu, arguably the most famous Chinese military general from the Three Kingdoms era. Seoul Metro trains on Line 1 that are serviced at the Gunja Train Depot behind Yongdap Station operate up to this station, before taking a rail line that connects to Sinseol-dong Station on Line 2.
Changsin Station
Changsin Station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 6. This station is actually much closer to Hansung University than the Line 4 station named after it. This station may, in the future, become transferable with the Sin Ansan Line.
Korea University Station
Korea University Station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 6. This station is located in front of the main entrance of Korea University. One of the exits is connected directly to the campus. City of Seoul has a plan to develop campus town in front of main entrance of Korea University. Furthermore,new commercial districts will be constructed between Korea University Station and Anam Station. This district is expected to be a fresh and active campus town.
Anam Station
Anam Station is a subway station on the Seoul Subway Line 6. This station is located between the Korea University Anam Campus and the Korea University Anam Hospital.
Gyeongdong Market
Gyeongdong Market or Kyungdong Market, located in the 1035 Jaegi-dong area of Dongdaemun-gu, Seoul, is one of the largest herbal medicine and ginseng markets of South Korea. Since its establishment in 1960, the market supplies 70 percent of the nation’s herbal medicine ingredients and has more than 1,000 related shops and oriental medicine clinics in the area.

Bomun Station is a railway station on Seoul Subway Line 6. It will become a transfer station with Ui LRT in 2014.
