Geography of South Korea
South Korea is located in North Asia, on the southern half of the Korean Peninsula jutting out from the far east of the Asian land mass. The only country with a land border to South Korea is North Korea, lying to the north with 238 kilometres of border running along the DMZ. South Korea is mostly surrounded by water and has 2,413 kilometres of coast line along three seas.

Yeongi County
Yeongi County (Yeongi-gun) was a county in South Chungcheong Province, South Korea now part of Sejong. Jochiwon is the main city within Yeongi. Jochiwon, as of 2011, has a large foreign community of native English speakers considering its rather small size and population. This is due to the existence of two major universities: Hong-ik University and Korea University Korea University Sejong Campus, both satellite campuses. In addition to the universities there are many public schools.

Cheongju International Airport
Cheongju International Airport is an international airport near the city of Cheongju, South Korea. It also serves the cities of Daejeon and Sejong. In 2011, 1,337,791 passengers used the airport. It also houses the 17th fighter wing of the ROKAF. There is a railway station next to the airport, called Cheongju Airport station, which is on the Chungbuk Line.

Korea National University of Education

Sejong City
Sejong, officially Sejong Special Self-Governing City and formerly known as Yeongi (연기, 燕岐) county is a planned city in South Korea. In early 2007, the South Korean government decided to create a special administrative district housing nine ministries and four national agencies currently located in Seoul out of parts of Chungcheongnam-do and a small section of Chungcheongbuk-do provinces, near Daejeon. The capital opened on 2 July 2012, with 36 government agencies slated to move there by 2015.

Korea Air Force Academy is a Republic of Korea Air Force institution for the undergraduate education and military training of officers. It is located at Cheongju, Chungbuk, South Korea. The current superintendent of the Academy is Lieutenant General Oh, Chang Hwan. Seongmudae is another name of the academy.
Cheongju National Museum
Cheongju National Museum is a national museum located in Cheongju, Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea. It opened on October 30, 1987. Kim Swoo Geun, Korea’s most renowned architect designed the building.

Osong Station
Osong Station is a station on the Gyeongbu KTX Line in Cheongwon County, North Chungcheong Province, South Korea. It is located at the intersection of the Gyeongbu KTX high speed rail line and the conventional Chungbuk Line. KTX trains began to call there November 1, 2010, bringing high speed rail service to the nearby city of Cheongju. Not all KTX trains call at Osong; only a select number of trains per day in each direction stop there.

Battle of Taejon
The Battle of Taejon (14–21 July 1950) was an early battle between United States and North Korean forces during the Korean War. Forces of the United States Army, attempting to defend the headquarters of the 24th Infantry Division were overwhelmed by numerically superior forces of the Korean People's Army at the major city and transportation hub of Taejon.
