Incheon

The Incheon Metropolitan City (literally 'wise river', formerly romanized as Inchon, is located in northwestern South Korea. The city was home to just 4,700 people when Jemulpo port was built in 1883. Battle of Inchon

The Battle of Inchon was an amphibious invasion and battle of the Korean War that resulted in a decisive victory and strategic reversal in favor of the United Nations (UN). The operation involved some 75,000 troops and 261 naval vessels, and led to the recapture of the South Korean capital Seoul two weeks later. The battle began on September 15, 1950, and ended September 19.

Inha University

Inha University (인하대학교) is a private, co-educational university located in Incheon, South Korea. It is owned by Hanjin Group. Inha University was established by the first president of South Korea, Syngman Rhee. Sungui Stadium

Sungui Stadium was a multi-purpose stadium in Incheon, South Korea. It was formerly used mostly for football matches, and was the home of National League side Incheon Korail. Sido (island)

Sido, also known as Salseom, is an island off the coast of Incheon, South Korea. It has an area of 2.46 km² and is currently inhabited by 238 residents (in 1999), who mostly work as fishermen. Yeongjongdo

Yeongjong Island is an island off the west coast of the city of Incheon, South Korea. The previously separate Yongyu, Sammok, and Sinbul Islands have been joined to Yeongjong Island by an area of reclaimed land built for the construction of Incheon International Airport. Sindo, also known as Jinyeom, is an island off the coast of Incheon, South Korea. Sindo covers an area of 6.92 km .
