KAIST
KAIST (formally the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology), is a public research university located in Daedeok Innopolis, Daejeon, South Korea. KAIST was established by the Korean government in 1971 as the nation's first research oriented science and engineering institution. QS World University Rankings placed KAIST 63rd overall and 24th in Engineering and Technology in 2012.

Gyeryong

After the World Cup it became the stadium of Daejeon Citizen with a capacity of 41,295 seats. It replaced Daejeon Sports Complex.

Information and Communications University (ICU), established in 1998, was a Korean university focused primarily on research and engineering in the field of information technology. It was located in the city of Daejeon and comprised an engineering school and a management school. As of 2006, about 20% of the enrolled graduate students were international students. Gyeryongsan, a 845 m mountain in Chungcheongnam-do, South Korea. It lies at the meeting of the boundaries of several cities: Gongju, Gyeryong, Nonsan, and Daejeon. It has been traditionally regarded as a sacred mountain, with the most qi of any in South Korea. The name "gyermongsan means chicken dragon mountain Portions of the mountain are included in a South Korean military reserve. Other portions are part of Gyeryongsan National Park.

Daejeon Museum of Art
The Daejeon Museum of Art (also called the Daejeon Metropolitan Museum of Arts) is located near at 396 Mannyeon-dong, Seo-gu, the Expo Park in Daejeon, South Korea. It opened on April 15, 1998. It has featured modern art from both domestic and foreign artists. Recent shows have included "The Horizen [sic] of Daejeon Art" [local art, featuring Cho Pyung-hwi and An Chi-in] and "The Exhibition of Park Seung-moo. " The facility has a floor space of just over 8,400 m².

Established on November 24, 1984, it transmits a 2 kW signal on 5 MHz (±0.01 Hz). Originally only transmitted for 7 hours per day, 5 days per week (M–F), it is continuous as of 2011, There are over 100 users of the signal in Korea.

Baekje Military Museum is a public museum in Nonsan, South Korea elucidating the military history of the later Baekje kingdom.
