Voortrekker Monument
The Voortrekker Monument is located just south of Pretoria in South Africa. This massive granite structure is prominently located on a hilltop, and was raised to commemorate the Voortrekkers who left the Cape Colony between 1835 and 1854. On 8 July 2011 the Voortrekker Monument, designed by the architect Gerard Moerdijk, was declared a National Heritage Site by the South African Heritage Resource Agency.
Melrose House
Melrose House is a stately mansion located in Pretoria, South Africa. Built in 1886 by the prosperous Pretoria businessman George Jesse Heys. it was named after the famous Melrose Abbey in Scotland. Melrose House gained fame during the Second Boer War (1899–1902) when Lord Roberts requisitioned it as the headquarters for the British forces after Pretoria was invaded in June 1900. For more than 18 months instructions for the British forces in the field were issued from here.
Church Square, Pretoria
Church Square or Kerkplein, is the historic centre of the city of Pretoria, South Africa. Its most prominent feature is the statue of the Boer leader and president of the South African Republic Paul Kruger at its centre. Statues of four anonymous Boer citizen-soldiers surround that of Kruger's on a lower level of the plinth.
Kruger House, Pretoria
Kruger House is the historical Pretoria residence of the Boer leader and President of the South African Republic, Paul Kruger. It was built in 1884 by architect Tom Claridge and builder Charles Clark. Milk was used, instead of water, for mixing the cement from which the house was constructed, as the cement available was of poor quality. The house was also one of the first in Pretoria to be lit by electricity.
Transvaal Museum
The Ditsong National Museum of Natural History, formerly Transvaal Museum, is a natural history museum situated in Pretoria, South Africa. It was founded as the Staatsmuseum (Afrikaans for "State Museum") of the ZAR on the 1 December 1892, and J. W. B. Gunning was appointed as first director. The museum was located for the first two years in the Ou Raadsaal parliament building.

The South African nuclear weapons production facility, having been transferred in 1979 from the Pelindaba nuclear research center to the state-owned Armaments Corporation of South Africa, was later developed as the Kentron Circle facility. This facility, built in 1980, and located 20km west of Pretoria, was subsequently renamed Advena.

The Apies River is a river that flows through the city of Pretoria, South Africa. Its source is located just south of the city and it flows northward until it drains into the Pienaars River. The river is also known as the Apiesrivier in Afrikaans (in which "Apies" means "small monkeys").
Church Street bombing
The Church Street bombing was a car bomb attack on 20 May 1983 by Umkhonto we Sizwe, the military wing of the African National Congress, in the South African capital Pretoria. The bombing killed 19 and wounded 217, and was one of the largest attacks engaged in by the ANC during its armed struggle against apartheid. The attack consisted of a car bomb set off outside the Nedbank Square building on Church Street at 4:30pm on a Friday.
Vlakplaas
Vlakplaas is a farm 20km west of Pretoria that served as the headquarters of the South African Police counterinsurgency unit C10 (later called C1) working for the apartheid government in South Africa. The C-designation of the counterinsurgency unit was its official name but the whole unit became known as Vlakplaas and was commanded by Eugene de Kock.

Freedom Park (South Africa)
Freedom Park is situated on Salvokop in Pretoria. It includes a memorial with a list of the names of those killed in the South African Wars, World War I, World War II as well as apartheid. Construction of the monument was by Stefanutti Stocks overseen by Mongane Wally Serote. In March 2009, twenty-four deceased "liberation struggle heroes" were proposed for inclusion to the memorial.

Kalafong Hospital is a public hospital in Pretoria, Gauteng. The hospital is situated on the western outskirts of Pretoria in the suburb of Atteridgeville. The University of Pretoria uses the hospital as a training institution for the Faculty of Health Sciences.
Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital
Weskoppies is a public psychiatric hospital in Pretoria, Gauteng. It is situated to the west of the city centre and was built on the site of the old botanical gardens. The hospital is used by the University of Pretoria and the University of Limpopo, amongst others, as a teaching hospital.
Pretoria railway station
Pretoria railway station is the central station in Pretoria, the executive capital of South Africa. It is located between Pretoria's central business district and Salvokop, in a 1910 building designed by Herbert Baker. It is the terminus of various Metrorail commuter rail services in the northern part of Gauteng, and a stop on Shosholoza Meyl inter-city services from Johannesburg to Polokwane and Nelspruit. Pretoria is also the northern terminus of the luxury Blue Train service from Cape Town.
Ou Raadsaal
Ou Raadsaal (also known as Old Council Chamber, Old Government Building, and Republikeinse Raadsaal) was the Parliament Building of the Transvaal Republic Government in Pretoria, South Africa. The Volksraad sat session in this building at the end of the 19th century when Paul Kruger was the last President of the old Boer Republic. The Renaissance Revival architecture building, designed by Sytze Wierda, is located on the south side of Church Square.
Burgers Park
Burgers Park is a park located in the center of Pretoria, South Africa. Founded in the 1870s, it covers four acres and has been declared a South African National Monument. It is named for Thomas François Burgers, fourth president of the South African Republic. A statue of President Burgers stands in the park.

Pretoria City Hall is a large building in Pretoria city centre which was built in 1931 and inaugurated in 1935. It is located on the Paul Kruger Street south of Church Square and across the street of the Transvaal Museum. Lucas Masterpieces Moripe Stadium
Lucas 'Masterpieces' Moripe Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium having a capacity of 28,900 and is located in Atteridgeville, a suburb of Pretoria, South Africa. It is currently used mostly for football matches and serves as part-time home stadium of Premier Soccer League clubs Supersport United and Mamelodi Sundowns who also use the Loftus Versfeld Stadium. The stadium was named after former local soccer player Lucas Moripe. Until 2010 the stadium was known as Super Stadium.
South African Air Force Memorial
The South African Air Force Memorial is a memorial to South African Air Force members who have died whilst in service of the South African Air Corps and its successor, the South African Air Force from 1915 to the present. The memorial is located at Swartkop outside Pretoria.
