Planica
Planica is an alpine valley in northwestern Slovenia, extending south from the border village of Rateče, not far from another well-known ski resort, Kranjska Gora. Further south, the valley extends into the Tamar Valley, a popular hiking destination in Triglav National Park. Planica is famous for ski jumping. The first ski jumping hill was constructed before 1930 at the slope of Mount Ponca. In 1934, Stanko Bloudek built a larger hill, known as the "Bloudek Giant".

Nadiža (creek)
Nadiža is a mountain stream near the town of Kranjska Gora, in the far northwestern corner of Slovenia. Springing from a bare rockface on the eastern slope of the mountain Zadnja Ponca above the valley of Tamar in the Julian Alps, it is the first source of the river Sava Dolinka, the longer of the two sources of the Sava, the longest Slovene river at 221 kilometres and a tributary of the Danube.
Bloudkova velikanka
Bloudkova velikanka is the Slovenian name for the new complex of two new ski jumps, Bloudkova velikanka HS139 and Bloudkova velikanka HS104, located in Planica, Slovenia. Both jumps were designed by the team of Slovenian architects Matej Blenkuš, Miloš Florijančič and Klemen Kobal and are part of Planica Nordic Center. Blenkuš and Florijančič articulated the architecture of the ski jump while Kobal took care for the profile.
