Uzh River
The Uzh is a river in Ukraine and Slovakia. Its name comes from the ancient west Slavic dialect word už, meaning "Snake", (lat. "Serpentes"). It is 127 km long, out of which 21.3 km are in Slovakia. It flows into the Laborec river near the city of Drahňov in the Michalovce District. The Ukrainian city of Uzhhorod and the semi-ruined Nevitske Castle are situated by the Uzh. The river forms part of the Slovakia–Ukraine border for about 1.5 km near the village Pinkovce.

Laborec
Laborec is a river in eastern Slovakia that flows through the districts of Medzilaborce, Humenne, and Michalovce, and drains the Laborec Highlands. Tributaries of the river include the Uh River which joins the Laborec near the city of Drahňov in Michalovce District. The Laborec itself is a tributary, flowing into the Latorica. Prince Laborec was defeated and beheaded on the banks of the Laborec river that still carries his name.
