Diriyah
Al-Diriyah is a town in Saudi Arabia located on the northwestern outskirts of the Saudi capital, Riyadh. Diriyah was the original home of the Saudi royal family, and served as the capital of the first Saudi dynasty from 1744 to 1818. Today, the town is the seat of the Diriyah Governorate, which also includes the villages of Uyayna, Jubayla, and Al-Ammariyyah, among others, and is part of Ar Riyad Province. The Turaif district in Diriyah was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2010.

Saudia Flight 163
Saudia Arabian Airlines Flight 163 was a scheduled passenger flight of Saudia that caught fire after takeoff from Riyadh International Airport on a flight to Jeddah, Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, August 19, 1980. All 287 passengers and 14 crew on board the Lockheed L-1011-200 TriStar registered HZ-AHK, died after the aircraft made an emergency landing back at the Riyadh airport. At the time, the incident was the second deadliest single aircraft disaster in history, after Turkish Airlines Flight 981.

Kingdom Centre, also called Kingdom Tower, is a 99-storey, 302.3 m skyscraper in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. It is the second tallest skyscraper in the country, and the third tallest building with a hole in the world after the Shanghai World Financial Center and Tuntex Sky Tower.
