Jeddah
Jeddah, is a city in the Tihamah region on the coast of the Red Sea and is the major urban center of western Saudi Arabia. It is the largest city in Makkah Province, the largest sea port on the Red Sea, and the second largest city in Saudi Arabia after the capital city, Riyadh. With a population currently at 3.2 million, Jeddah is an important commercial hub in Saudi Arabia.

King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA) is an aviation facility located 19 km to the north of Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. King Saud Mosque
His Majesty King Saud Mosque is the largest mosque in the city of Jeddah and is located in Jeddah's Al-Sharafeyyah District. The Mosque was designed by Abdel-Wahed El-Wakil and was finished in 1987. Tomb of Eve
The Tomb of Eve, also known as Eve's Grave and Eve's Tomb, is an archeological site located in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia . It is considered by some Muslims to be the burial place of the Biblical Eve. Richard Francis Burton mentions seeing it in his translation of the Book Of One Thousand Nights And A Night. The site was sealed with concrete by the religious authorities in 1975 as a result of pilgrims praying at the tomb.

King Fahd's Fountain
King Fahd's Fountain, also known as the Jeddah Fountain, is the tallest of its type of fountain in the world. Located in the coast of Jeddah, west coast of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The fountain jets water 1,024 feet above the Red Sea. It was donated to the city of Jeddah by King Fahd, hence its name. The fountain is visible throughout the entire vicinity of Jeddah. The water it ejects can reach a speed of 375 kilometres per hour and its airborne mass can exceed 18 tons.
Red Sea Mall
The Red Sea Mall is a shopping mall located in the northern suburb of Jeddah in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The mall is located on the western side of the Al-Malek Abdulaziz Road (King Abdul Azis Road, Malek Road) between the King Abdulaziz International Airport and the Red Sea coast. It boasts some 242,200 square meters of built area. A hotel and seven story office building will be attached. The Mall has 18 entrances and 4,000 parking spaces.
Kingdom Tower

General Authority of Civil Aviation

2009 Jeddah floods
The 2009 Saudi Arabian floods affected Jeddah, on the Red Sea (western) coast of Saudi Arabia, and other areas of Makkah Province. They have been described by civil defence officials as the worst in 27 years. As of 3 January 2010, some 122 people are reported to have been killed, and more than 350 were missing. Some roads were under a metre (three feet) of water on 26 November, and many of the victims were believed to have drowned in their cars.
