Geography of Saint Kitts and Nevis
Saint Kitts and Nevis is a twin island country with a total landmass of just 104 square miles . The island of St. Kitts, the larger of the two, is 68 square miles in size and is located at latitude 17.30 N, and longitude 62.80 W. Nevis is 36 square miles and located at latitude 17.10 N, longitude 62.35 W, approximately 3 km south-east of St. Kitts. They are about one-third of the way from Puerto Rico to Trinidad and Tobago.

The Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis, located in the Leeward Islands, is a federal two-island state in the West Indies. It is the smallest sovereign state in the Americas, in both area and population. The capital city and headquarters of government for the federated state is Basseterre on the larger island of Saint Kitts. The smaller island of Nevis lies about 2 miles (3 km) southeast of Saint Kitts, across a shallow channel called "The Narrows".

Basseterre, estimated population 15,500 in 2000, is the capital of the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis in the West Indies. Geographically, the Basseterre port is located at {{#invoke:Coordinates|coord}}{{#coordinates:17|18|N|62|44|W||| |primary |name= }}, on the south western coast of Saint Kitts Island, and it is one of the chief commercial depots of the Leeward Islands.
Warner Park Sporting Complex
Warner Park Sporting Complex is an athletic facility in Basseterre, St. Kitts, St. Kitts and Nevis. It includes the Warner Park Stadium, which was one of the hosts for the 2007 Cricket World Cup. It is named after Sir Thomas Warner, the explorer who established the first English colony on St. Kitts. The eastern segment contains the cricket pitch, pavilion, media centre and seating for 4,000 which can be increased with temporary stands to 10,000 for major events.

Independence Square (Basseterre)
Independence Square was named on the occasion of St. Kitts and Nevis achieving political independence on September 19, 1983. Originally called Pall Mall Square, The Government first acquired it in 1750 and it rapidly became the administrative, commercial and social centre of Basseterre. The Square was the site of the slave market. Slaves arriving from Africa were temporarily quartered in the basement of a building on the south side of the Square.
Spooner's Estate
Spooner's Estate is a historical site in Saint Kitts and Nevis. It is located near the Southern entrance of town of Cayon. The site is noted as being one of the finest examples of agro-industrial history on Saint Kitts, and contains the only surviving cotton ginnery on the island. The estate began as an animal-driven sugar mill estate possible around the late 17th century, and converted to steam power in the late 19th century. Around 1900, its ownership changed hands and Sendall and Wade.
Olivees Mountain
Olivees Mountain is the third highest peak on the island of Saint Kitts in the Caribbean. At 886 metres, it is some 250 metres shorter than Mount Liamuiga, which lies six kilometres to the northwest, and is shorter than Verchild's Mountain, 4.3 kilometers to the northwest.
