White House (Moscow)
The White House, also known as the Russian White House, is a government building in Moscow. It stands on Krasnopresnenskaya embankment. Construction started in 1965 and ended in 1981. Originally called The House of Soviets, it was designed by the architects Dmitry Chechulin and P. Shteller. Overall design follows Chechulin's 1934 draft of the Aeroflot building.
Moscow Zoo
The Moscow Zoo is a 21.5-hectare zoo founded in 1864 by professor-biologists, K.F. Rulje, S.A. Usov and A.P. Bogdanov, from the Moscow State University. In 1919, the zoo was nationalized. In 1922, the ownership was transferred to the city of Moscow and has remained under Moscow's control ever since. The zoo had an area of 10 hectares when it first opened, with 286 animals. In 1926, the zoo was expanded to adjacent lands, increasing the area to 18 hectares .
Smolenskaya (Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line)
Smolenskaya (Смоленская) is a station on the Arbatsko-Pokrovskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was built in 1953 to replace an older station of the same name, though this was later reopened as part of the Filyovskaya Line. The two stations are not connected. Smolenskaya has square, white marble columns with fluted corners, decorative cornices, and ventilation grilles concealed behind ornamental sconces. At the end of the platform is a bas-relief by G.I.
Smolenskaya (Filyovskaya Line)
Smolenskaya is a station on the Filyovskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It was opened in 1935 as part of the first Metro line. Designed by S.G. Andriyevsky and T.N. Makarychev, the station features gray marble pillars with flared bases and walls faced with white ceramic tile. Smolenskaya originally had two entrance vestibules, but one was demolished with the expansion of the Garden Ring avenue (at the time the station was closed and was not intended to be reopened).
Krasnopresnenskaya
Krasnopresnenskaya is a Moscow Metro station in the Presnensky District, Central Administrative Okrug, Moscow. It is on the Koltsevaya Line, between Kiyevskaya and Belorusskaya stations. Krasnopresnenskaya was designed by V. Yegerev, M. Konstantinov, Felix Novikov, and I. Pokrovsky and opened on 14 March 1954. The station has red granite pylons with white marble cornices and 14 bas-reliefs by N. Shcherbakov, Yu. Pommer, Yu. Ushakov, V. Fedorov, and G. Kolesnikov.
Barrikadnaya
Barrikadnaya is a station on the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya Line of the Moscow Metro. It is named after the events of the Russian Revolution of 1905 when it was a site for barricades on Krasnaya Presnya street. The station was opened in 1972 as the first station on the Krasnopresenenskiy line, and for three years was its southern terminus, until the tunnel to Pushkinskaya connected it to the Zhdanovskiy line.
Golden Ring Hotel
Golden Ring Hotel (Russian: Гостиница Золотое Кольцо) is a five-star hotel in Moscow. The hotel is located just opposite the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Building and the Arbat Street, on Smolenskaya Ulitsa. The hotel was built in 1970 as the Belgrade-I Hotel and used to serve foreign tourists (mostly from the Eastern bloc countries) who visited Russia with Intourist groups.

Kiyevsky railway station
The Kiyevsky station (Russian: Киевский вокзал, Kievskiy vokzal) is one of the nine main railway stations of Moscow, Russia. It is the only railway station in Moscow to have a frontage on the Moskva River. The station is located at the Square of Europe, in the beginning of Bolshaya Dorogomilovskaya Street in Dorogomilovo District of Moscow. As the name suggests there are regular services to Kiev as well as Belgrade, Zagreb, Varna, Bucharest, Sofia, Niš, Budapest, Prague, Vienna and Venice.
Smolensky Metro Bridge
Smolensky Metro Bridge (Russian: Смоленский метромост, Metromost) is a steel arch bridge that spans Moskva River in Dorogomilovo District of Moscow, Russia. It is the first bridge built for the Moscow Metro in 1935–1937, designed by N.P. Polikarpov, P.K. Antonov and Yakovlev brothers (architectural design). It is one of two (the second one is Mitinsky Metro Bridge) bridges over Moskva River that are used exclusively by Metro (subway) trains, while the other Metro bridges combine road and rail.

Narkomfin building
The Narkomfin Building is a block of flats in Moscow, Russia, designed by Moisei Ginzburg with Ignaty Milinis in 1928, and finished in 1932. Only two of four planned buildings were completed. The building is squeezed between old and new territories of United States Embassy at 25, Novinsky Boulevard. A fine example of Constructivist architecture and avant-garde interior planning, it is presently in a dilapidated state; most units were vacated by residents years ago.
Spaso House
Spaso House is a listed Neoclassical Revival building at No. 10 Spasopeskovskaya Square in Moscow. It was originally built in 1913 as the mansion of the textile industrialist Nikolay Vtorov. Since 1933 it has been the residence of the U.S. Ambassador to the USSR and (since 1991) to the Russian Federation.
