Oktyabrsky is an urban locality in Lyuberetsky District of Moscow Oblast, Russia, located 34 kilometers southeast of Moscow and 14 kilometers south of Lyubertsy. Population: 13,165; 10,135; 8,634. It has been known since the 18th century, when it was called the village of Balyatino. It was renamed in 1917.
