Bălțătești
Bălţăteşti is a commune situated 36 km north of Piatra Neamţ, on the DN15C road, in Neamţ County, Romania. It is composed of three villages: Bălţăteşti, Valea Arini and Valea Seacă. It also included Ghindăoani village until 2003, when it was split off to form Ghindăoani Commune. It has several sources of mineral waters used for disease treatment purposes, a hotel and medical facilities. The natural landscape and the surroundings makes it a tourist destination.
Neamț Monastery
The Neamț Monastery is a Romanian Orthodox religious settlement, one of the oldest and most important of its kind in Romania. It was built in 15th century, and it is an example of medieval Moldavian architecture. A jewel of 15th century architecture, the church was built during Ştefan cel Mare's reign and finished in the year when the Moldavian army won the battle against King John Albert (1497).
Agapia Monastery
The Agapia Monastery' is a Romanian Orthodox monastery located 9 km west of Târgu Neamț, in Agapia Commune, Neamţ County. It was built between 1642 and 1647 by Romanian Voivode Vasile Lupu. The church, restored and modified several times during the centuries was painted by Nicolae Grigorescu, between 1858 and 1861.
Bistrița Monastery
The Bistriţa Monastery is a Romanian Orthodox monastery located 8 km west of Piatra Neamț. It was dedicated in 1402 by Romanian Voivode Alexandru cel Bun whose remains are buried here. The monastery is surrounded by 4 meter high stone walls built during Petru Rareș's reign (1541–1546), the original ones being destroyed in 1538 by Suleiman the Magnificent's army. Also from the same period dates a chapel located north of the monastery. The church is historically and archaeologically valuable.

Agapia is a commune in Neamţ County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Agapia, Filioara, Săcăluşeşti and Văratec. At the 2002 census, 100% of inhabitants were ethnic Romanians, and 99.2% were Romanian Orthodox. Neamț Citadel
Neamţ Citadel (Romanian: Cetatea Neamţ or Cetatea Neamţului) is a medieval fortress located in north-eastern part of Romania, near Târgu Neamț, Neamţ County. It was built in 14th century Moldavia during Petru I of Moldavia's reign and expanded in the 15th century. The citadel played a key role in Stephen III of Moldavia's defense system, along with Suceava, Hotin, Soroca, Orhei, Tighina, Chilia and Cetatea Albǎ.
