Palace of Culture (Iași)
The Palace of Culture is an edifice located in Iaşi, Romania. The building served as Administrative Palace and then Palace of Justice until 1955, when its destination was changed again, being assigned to the four museums nowadays united under the name of Moldova National Museum Complex. Also, the building houses the Cultural Heritage Conservation-Restoration Centre, the main branch of the Gheorghe Asachi Iași County Library and hosts various exhibitions and other events.
Stadionul Emil Alexandrescu
Emil Alexandrescu Stadium is a multi-purpose stadium in Copou, Iaşi, Romania. It is currently used mostly for football matches and is the home field of CSMS Iaşi. The stadium is named after the former Politehnica Iaşi player and Iaşi Mayor, Emil Alexandrescu, who died in 1991. Its original capacity was 12,500 seats but after plastic seats were mounted the capacity was reduced to 11,390 seats.

The Attacking Cavalryman Statue in Iaşi, Romania (Romanian: Statuia Cavaleristului în atac; also known as the Monument to the Heroes of the 2nd Cavalry Division or The Prunaru Charge) is a bronze monument executed by sculptor Ioan C. Ciurea rail disaster
The Ciurea rail disaster occurred on 13 January 1917, at Ciurea station, Romania, a station with passing loop on the railway line from Iaşi to Bârlad. Between 600 and 1,000 passengers were killed in a derailment and subsequent fire. Approaching Ciurea from Bârlad the line descends a steep bank some 10 miles (15 km) in length between Bârnova and Ciurea, the gradient being a slope of 1 in 40 increasing to 1 in 15 (6.7%) in places.
Great Synagogue (Iași)
The Great Synagogue of Iași was built in 1671 and is the oldest surviving synagogue in Romania. It is listed in the National Register of Historic Monuments. The building has round-arched windows, and two wings. One wing is two-stories high and capped by a barrel-vaulted ceiling. The other is a tall, single-story hall with and a 32'diameter dome capped with a lantern. The dome was added to the building in the early 20th-century.
Victims of Iași Pogrom Monument
The Victims of Iaşi Pogrom Monument (Romanian: Monumentul Victimelor Pogromului de la Iaşi) is an obelisk to the victims of Iași pogrom, unveiled on June 28, 2011 in front of the Great Synagogue (Iaşi), Romania. The black marble obelisk replaced a former obelisk "In Memory of the Victims of the Fascist Pogrom of Iaşi, June 28-29, 1941."
