The Burzenland is a historic and ethnographic area in southeastern Transylvania, Romania with a mixed population. Since the exodus of most of the German-speaking Transylvanian Saxons in the 20th century, this region has been predominantly inhabited by Romanians.
Sânpetru
Sânpetru is a commune in Braşov County, Romania, located 5 km north of the county capital Braşov. It is composed of a single village, Sânpetru. This area was home to many Transylvanian Saxons although after 1989 much of this community emigrated to Germany. The center of the village was built by this group and shows the influence of German architecture. Separate from this there is a crowded Romanian-built area featuring a small church and houses dating at least to the early 19th century.

Bod Transmitter
The Bod Transmitter (also known as the Braşov Transmitter) is the name of the transmitter facility for the central longwave radio station near Bod, Romania. It was designed by the engineer Cartianu Popescu and built in 1933/34. It currently operates on a frequency of 153 kHz with an output power of 1200 kW (although this value may not be used). It uses as its antenna a T-antenna hung up on two 250 metre tall guyed masts.
Bod, Brașov
Bod is a commune in Braşov County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Bod and Colonia Bod. At Bod there is one of Romania's largest sugar factories and a broadcasting transmitter for long- and medium-wave radio, the Bod Transmitter. In Bod, the lowest ever recorded temperature in Romania, -38.5 degrees Celsius (-37 Fahrenheit), was measured in January 1942. At the 2011 census, 89.6% of inhabitants were Romanians, 8.5% Hungarians and 1.1% Germans.

Tâmpa, Braşov
Tâmpa is a mountain, part of the Postăvarul Massif, located in the southern part of the Eastern Carpathians (alternatively categorized as in the Curvature Carpathians) and almost entirely surrounded by the city of Braşov. Its elevation is 960 m (995 m according to some sources), almost 400 m above the city. The mountain is mostly made up of limestone formations, having risen up gradually from the Earth's crust.
St. Nicholas Church, Brașov
Saint Nicholas Church (Romanian: Biserica Sfântul Nicolae) is a Romanian Orthodox church in Braşov, dominating the historic district of Şchei. The church was established in 1292. It was mentioned in a Papal bull issued in 1399 by Pope Boniface IX. Starting in 1495, the church was rebuilt in stone by the locals, with help from Vlad Călugărul, Voivode of Wallachia. More help was provided around 1512 by Neagoe Basarab. Initially built in the Gothic style, it was later redone in the Baroque style.
Hărman
Hărman is a commune in Braşov County, Romania. It is composed of two villages, Hărman and Podu Oltului. The commune is located some 10 km east of Braşov, in the Burzenland region of southeastern Transylvania. Hărman was established and long inhabited mainly by Transylvanian Saxons. Budila is a commune in Braşov County, Romania. It is composed of a single village, Budila. At the 2011 census, 77.2% of inhabitants were Romanians, 16.5% Hungarians and 6.1% Roma. Tărlungeni is a commune in Braşov County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Cărpiniş, Purcăreni, Tărlungeni and Zizin. At the 2011 census, 39.9% of inhabitants were Romanians, 30.7% Roma and 29.1% Hungarians. At the 2002 census, 61.3% were Romanian Orthodox, 31.2% Evangelical Lutheran, 3.6% Pentecostal and 1.1% Roman Catholic.

Strada sforii
Strada sforii (Romanian for 'String street', German: Fadengasse) is the narrowest street in the city of Braşov, Romania. It is believed to be one of the narrowest streets in Europe (Spreuerhofstraße, in Germany, and Parliament Street, in England, are narrower). It is situated near Șchei Gate and it is perpendicular to Strada Cerbului (Stag Street). It was initially built as a corridor that firemen could use, and it is first mentioned in 17th century documents.
Black Tower (Brașov)
Located on a large rock on Warthe Hill, the role of the Black Tower of Braşov, Romania was to deny enemy soldiers to approach the city walls, which, in this case, were no further than 5 meters (the pass was only widened in 1819-1820).

Andrei Mureşanu High School
Andrei Mureşanu High School is a high school in the Schei neighborhood of Braşov, Romania. It is situated close to Piata Unirii and the Saint Nicholas Church. The school is named after the famous Romanian poet Andrei Mureşanu who also composed the lyrics of the national hymn of Romania, "Desteapta-te romane". The high school is not only a high school – it also includes an elementary and a middle school, but both are situated in another building, very close to the high school.
Piatra Mare Mountains
The Piatra Mare Mountains is a small mountain range in Brașov County, southeast of Brașov, Romania, and also close to the resort town of Predeal. Geologically the Paitra Mare Mountains stand at the southern end of the grand arc of the Eastern Carpathians, and between the inner ring of the Inner Eastern Carpathians and the outer ring of the Outer Eastern Carpathians. The neighbouring Postăvarul Massif is also positioned in the same transitional area.
