Băneasa
Băneasa is a borough in the north side of Bucharest, near the Băneasa Lake (0.45 km²). Like all north-side districts of Bucharest, it is relatively sparsely populated, with large areas of parkland. Bordering on Băneasa Forest, Băneasa has the Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, used mainly by low-cost carriers, and is home to Zoo Băneasa. In the 2000s, the area has become increasingly upmarket, due to the construction of various luxury apartment developments in and around it.
Mogoşoaia Palace
Mogoșoaia Palace is situated about 10 kilometres from Bucharest, Romania. It was built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style or Brâncovenesc style, a combination of Venetian and Ottoman elements. The palace bears the name of the widow of the Romanian boyar Mogoș, who owned the land it was built on. The Palace was to a large extent rebuilt in the 1920s by Marthe Bibesco.
Casa Presei Libere
Casa Presei Libere (The House of the Free Press) is a building in northern Bucharest, Romania, the tallest in the city between 1956 and 2007. A horse race track was built in 1905 on the future site of Casa Presei Libere. A third of the track was removed in 1950 to make way for a wing of the building, and the race track was finally closed and demolished in 1960, after a decision by Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej. Construction began in 1952 and was completed in 1956.
Corbeanca
Corbeanca is a commune in the northwestern part of Ilfov County, Romania, on the Pociovaliştea River. It is composed of four villages: Corbeanca, Ostratu, Petreşti and Tamaşi. The commune's name derives from "Corbeanu", the name of a shepherd who settled here. There are several residential neighbourhoods that have been built in Corbeanca since the late 1990s, such as Paradisul verde ("Green Paradise"). Corbeanca is linked to Bucharest's public transport system through regional bus route 449.
Mogoșoaia
Mogoşoaia is a commune in the west of Ilfov County, Romania, composed of a single village, Mogoşoaia. RoAF 90th Airlift Base
The Romanian Air Force 90th Airlift Base (Baza 90 Transport Aerian) is located at the Henri Coandă International Airport, near Bucharest. In 1949, the 49th Transport Group was the first unit to be settled at Otopeni airfield. Later, in 1971, a special squadron was commissioned here and after few years this squadron became the 50th Airlift Wing. On March 1, 1990, by gathering together these two units, the 90th Airlift Base was officially formed.

Bright Light (CIA)
