Battle of Breadfield
The Battle of Breadfield (Hungarian: Kenyérmezei csata, Romanian: Bătălia de la Câmpul Pâinii, Turkish: Ekmek Otlak Savaşı) was the most tremendous conflict fought in Transylvania up to that time in the Hungarian-Turkish Wars taking place on October 13, 1479, on the Breadfield Zsibód (Şibot) near the Maros River. The Hungarian army was led by Pál Kinizsi, István Báthory, Vuk Branković, and Basarab Laiotă cel Bătrân. The result of the battle was an important victory for the Kingdom of Hungary.
Măgura Uroiului Project
The Măgura Uroiului (Uroi Hill) site is a Romanian multi-period site located on and around Uroi Hill, a 300 metres tall rock outcrop, with an escarpment facing the Mureş and Strei rivers and sloping on the back side. Breadfield
The Breadfield is a region in southwest Transylvania, between Orăştie (Szászváros) and Sebeş (Szászsebes) in the Transylvanian Saxon land, near the Mureş River. The central settlement is Cugir. The Cugir Creek's old Magyar name is Kenyér, which gave rise to the name Breadfield. The region's borders to the south are the Cugir Mountains, to the north the Mureș, to the west Hunedoara County, and to the east the Sebeș River. The area is a fertile plain.

Rapoltu Mare is a commune in Hunedoara County, Romania. It is composed of five villages: Bobâlna, Boiu, Folt, Rapoltu Mare and Rapolţel. The Hungarian noble family Szent-Györgyi de Nagyrápolt takes the name of this village since the middle-age. Its most famous member is the scientist Albert Szent-Györgyi.

Turdaș
Turdaş is a commune in Hunedoara County, Romania. It is composed of four villages: Pricaz, Râpaş, Spini and Turdaş. This is the location of the Turdaş archaeological site. The archaeological site was a large Neolithic/Chalcolithic settlement along the course of the Mureş River. It was first researched by Zsófia Torma. The sub-culture Vinča-Turdaş (a late, regional variation of the Vinča culture) is named after this site.
Piatra Tomii
Piatra Tomii is a late Jurassic limestone outcrop forming a small hill near Răcătau village, Alba county, Romania. It is most well known for the Chalcolithic to Bronze Age flint mining settlement located on and near to the hill. The settlement is late Chalcolithic to Early Bronze Age. The people who occupied this site belonged to the Coțofeni culture (phase 3). The chief investigator of this archaeological site is Dr. Cristian Popa of the 1 Decembrie 1918 University, Alba Iulia.

The Coronation Cathedral, dedicated to the Holy Trinity and the Holy Archangels Michael and Gabriel, is a Romanian Orthodox cathedral located at 16 Mihai Viteazul Street, Alba Iulia, Romania. Built soon after and in commemoration of the Union of Transylvania with Romania, it is the seat of the Romanian Orthodox Archdiocese of Alba Iulia.
