Mogoşoaia Palace
Mogoșoaia Palace is situated about 10 kilometres from Bucharest, Romania. It was built between 1698-1702 by Constantin Brâncoveanu in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style or Brâncovenesc style, a combination of Venetian and Ottoman elements. The palace bears the name of the widow of the Romanian boyar Mogoș, who owned the land it was built on. The Palace was to a large extent rebuilt in the 1920s by Marthe Bibesco.
Crângași metro station
Crângaşi is a metro station in the Crângași neighborhood, northwestern Bucharest. It was opened to the public in December 1984 as a terminus of the M1 line. The station is unusual in that it has three tracks on the same level, one of which has never been used by passengers (it is sometimes used for temporary storage of trains).
Petrache Poenaru metro station
Petrache Poenaru, formerly known as Semănătoarea is a metro station in Bucharest. It was named after Semănătoarea, an agricultural machinery factory located in the vicinity. It services both what is left of the factory (that was severely downsized a number of times), part of the Regie student campus located in the vicinity, the Sema Park industrial Park as well as some newly built residential areas.
Grivița metro station
Griviţa is a metro station in northern Bucharest. It was opened in 2000 as part of Line M4, and is therefore one of the most modern stations in Bucharest. It is located near the Grivița railroad workshops.
Lujerului metro station
Lujerului metro station, previously known as Armata Poporului is a metro station in the Militari neighborhood of Bucharest. It is located at the intersection of Lujerului and Iuliu Maniu Avenues, close to the Lujerului road-tunnel, near the Cotroceni Freight Railway Terminal, the Lujerului Silo, Mills and Bread Factory, and next to the Cora Lujerului hypermarket. The metro station also services the Plaza Romania mall. It was opened in August 1983 and currently serves M3.
Gorjului metro station
Gorjului is a metro station in Bucharest named after the Piaţa Gorjului, east of which is situated. It was added later to the system in the 1990s, and built in two stages. First built was the platform for trains headed for Industriilor, and after a few years, the platform for trains headed for Eroilor entered revenue service.
Păcii metro station
Păcii (eng. peace) is a metro station in Bucharest. Part of the boulevard under which it resides used to bear the station's name. It is located on Iuliu Maniu Avenue at the intersection with Valea Cascadelor Avenue, the latter being a proposal for a new name for the station.
Mogoșoaia
Mogoşoaia is a commune in the west of Ilfov County, Romania, composed of a single village, Mogoşoaia. Militari
Militari is a district in the western part of Bucharest, in Sector 6. It is home of more than 100,000 inhabitants. In the past a village called "Militari" existed here, but today there are only few houses left from this time. The first apartment buildings (with 2,3 and 4 floors) have been built in the 1950s by Communist party workers. Later, in the 1970s and 1980s, most of the present-day blocks of flats (with 8 and 10 flats) have been built.
Grivița
Grivița is an area of Bucharest, Romania, centered on the Grivița Railway Yards (Atelierele Căi Ferate Grivița), which were and still are an important landmark within the manufacturing landscape of the city. Located near Gara de Nord, their history dates back to the late decades of the 19th century, when they were developed in order to perform maintenance and overhaul of railway equipment serving Căile Ferate Române.

Giuleşti-Valentin Stănescu Stadium is a football stadium in Bucharest, Romania and is the home stadium of Rapid Bucureşti. The stadium is named after Valentin Stănescu, the coach that helped Rapid to win its first title, but it is still commonly known as the "Giuleşti Stadium", after the name of the neighborhood in which it is located. Landmarks near the stadium include Podul Grant, Giuleşti Theatre, Gara de Nord and the Grivița Railway Yards.

Romexpo
Romexpo is an arena in Bucharest, Romania. The arena is used mostly for exhibitions, but it is also used for hosting concerts and indoor sports. The location is very similar with the Tokyo Dome. In 2007 and 2009, it was the host of the famous music festival called BestFest.

Morii Lake
Morii Lake ("Lacul Morii") is the largest lake in Bucharest, with an area of 246 ha. The lake is 3 km from the center of Bucharest (University Square) and is located between: Polytechnic University of Bucharest neighborhood to the East, Crangaşi and Giulești districts at North, Militari district at South. The type of it is accumulation lake, made in 1986 mainly to protect the city against floods. It is also a recreation area. It provides a constant flow on Dâmboviţa river in the capital.
Lake Dâmbovița
Dâmbovița Lake ("Lacul Dâmbovița") is a lake situated on Dâmboviţa river in Bucharest and Chiajna, west of Morii Lake and bordering Morii Lake. It has an area of 55 ha. The lake is 3 km from the center of Bucharest (University Square) and is located between: Morii Lake to the East, Giulești district at North, Chiajna and Rosu Forest at South. A project underground highway, a tunnel which will link Morii Lake and Dambovita Lake (also Chiajna) to Civic Center and A1 freeway
Bright Light (CIA)
Bright Light is the codename of one of the Central Intelligence Agency's network of black sites -- clandestine interrogation centers. The location of the site, in Bucharest, Romania, was confirmed in an exclusive report from the Associated Press on December 8, 2011. Some of the most important captives in the high value detainee program, including Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, were held there. Other sites in the CIA's network were in isolated locations.
Chiajna Monastery
Chiajna Monastery is the name of a ruined church situated on the outskirts of Bucharest, which is the subject of many legends, including the story that it is cursed. The information center Giulești Park is devoted to the upkeep and protection of the building, which is a national heritage site.
Regie, Bucharest
Regie is a small district situated in western Bucharest, Romania on the banks of the Dâmboviţa river, in Sector 6. It is located in the vicinity of the Politehnica University of Bucharest and comprises mainly student dormitories and student facilities like restaurants, bars and clubs. It is delimited by the Crângași and Militari districts.

The Colosseum (shopping mall)
The Colosseum will be a shopping mall in Bucharest, Romania, located in the North-Western part of the city, near Chitila. After completion, it will be the biggest mall in Romania and one of the biggest shopping malls in Europe. The construction is planned to start towards the autumn of 2012 and will take four years.
