Băneasa
Băneasa is a borough in the north side of Bucharest, near the Băneasa Lake (0.45 km²). Like all north-side districts of Bucharest, it is relatively sparsely populated, with large areas of parkland. Bordering on Băneasa Forest, Băneasa has the Aurel Vlaicu International Airport, used mainly by low-cost carriers, and is home to Zoo Băneasa. In the 2000s, the area has become increasingly upmarket, due to the construction of various luxury apartment developments in and around it.
Casa Presei Libere
Casa Presei Libere (The House of the Free Press) is a building in northern Bucharest, Romania, the tallest in the city between 1956 and 2007. A horse race track was built in 1905 on the future site of Casa Presei Libere. A third of the track was removed in 1950 to make way for a wing of the building, and the race track was finally closed and demolished in 1960, after a decision by Gheorghe Gheorghiu-Dej. Construction began in 1952 and was completed in 1956.
Grivița metro station
Griviţa is a metro station in northern Bucharest. It was opened in 2000 as part of Line M4, and is therefore one of the most modern stations in Bucharest. It is located near the Grivița railroad workshops.
Arcul de Triumf
Arcul de Triumf is a triumphal arch located in the northern part of Bucharest, on the Kiseleff Road. The first, wooden, triumphal arch was built hurriedly, after Romania gained its independence (1878), so that the victorious troops could march under it. Another temporary arch was built on the same site, in 1922, after World War I, which was demolished in 1935 to make way for the current triumphal arch, which was inaugurated in September 1936.

Herăstrău Park
Herăstrău Park is a large park on the northern side of Bucharest, Romania, around Lake Herăstrău. The park has an area of about 1.1 km², of which 0.7 km² is the lake. Initially, the area was full of marshes, but these were drained between 1930 and 1935, and the park was opened in 1936. The park is divided into two zones: a rustic or natural zone, which is left more or less undisturbed, and a public/'active' domain with open areas for recreation activities. Small boats are allowed on the lake.
Crângași
Crângași is one of the smallest neighborhoods in the 6th Sector of Bucharest, Romania. It is situated on the west side of the city near the Dâmboviţa River, where it flows into Lacul Morii. Its name means "people living in a young forest". Nearby neighborhoods include Giulești.
Grivița
Grivița is an area of Bucharest, Romania, centered on the Grivița Railway Yards (Atelierele Căi Ferate Grivița), which were and still are an important landmark within the manufacturing landscape of the city. Located near Gara de Nord, their history dates back to the late decades of the 19th century, when they were developed in order to perform maintenance and overhaul of railway equipment serving Căile Ferate Române.
Stadionul Giulești-Valentin Stănescu
Giuleşti-Valentin Stănescu Stadium is a football stadium in Bucharest, Romania and is the home stadium of Rapid Bucureşti. The stadium is named after Valentin Stănescu, the coach that helped Rapid to win its first title, but it is still commonly known as the "Giuleşti Stadium", after the name of the neighborhood in which it is located. Dimitrie Gusti National Village Museum in Bucharest
The Village Museum (Muzeul Satului in Romanian) is an open-air ethnographic museum located in the Herăstrău Park, showcasing traditional Romanian village life. The museum extends to over 100,000 m, and contains 272 authentic peasant farms and houses from all over Romania. It was created in 1936 by Dimitrie Gusti, Victor Ion Popa, and Henri H. Stahl.

Șoseaua Kiseleff
Șoseaua Kiseleff (Kiseleff Road) is a major road in Bucharest that runs as a northward continuation of Calea Victoriei. The road was created in 1832 by Pavel Kiselyov, the commander of the Russian occupation troops in Wallachia and Moldavia. The name was converted from Kiselyov to Kiseleff, using the French transliteration of Russian names at the time.
Podul Grant
Podul Grant (Grant Bridge) is a bridge for motorway and lightrail in Bucharest, Romania. It is named after Effingham Grant, the British consul in Bucharest in the mid-19th century. Initially, the bridge was made of steel, and opened in 1910. In the late 1970s, it was remade from concrete. Since then, a number of maintenance and modernisation projects have been executed.
Romexpo
Romexpo is an arena in Bucharest, Romania. The arena is used mostly for exhibitions, but it is also used for hosting concerts and indoor sports. The location is very similar with the Tokyo Dome. In 2007 and 2009, it was the host of the famous music festival called BestFest.

Elisabeta Palace
The Palace of Elisabeta (Palatul Elisabeta), in Bucharest, Romania, is currently the stately home of King Michael I of Romania. The palace was designed in 1930 by the architect Marcu and built in 1936 for Princess Elisabeta, the former queen of Greece and sister of King Carol II. It was in this palace that King Michael was forced to abdicate on December 30, 1947.
Stadionul Arcul de Triumf
Stadionul Naţional de Rugby Arcul de Triumf (Arch of Triumph National Rugby Stadium) is a multi-purpose stadium in Bucharest, Romania. It is currently used mostly for rugby games. The stadium is steeped in Romanian rugby history. It sits on the former site of the Federaţiei playing fields, where the sport was introduced to the country in the early 20th century. Between 2008 and 2013, the stadium has been renovated and expanded to 5,500 seats with the help of Sector's 1 City Hall.
