Politehnica University of Bucharest
Universitatea Politehnica din Bucureşti is a technical university in Bucharest, Romania. It was founded in 1864 based on the older technical school of Gheorghe Lazăr (1818) and it was renamed "Politehnica" in 1920.
Crângași metro station
Crângaşi is a metro station in the Crângași neighborhood, northwestern Bucharest. It was opened to the public in December 1984 as a terminus of the M1 line. The station is unusual in that it has three tracks on the same level, one of which has never been used by passengers (it is sometimes used for temporary storage of trains).
Petrache Poenaru metro station
Petrache Poenaru, formerly known as Semănătoarea is a metro station in Bucharest. It was named after Semănătoarea, an agricultural machinery factory located in the vicinity. Grozăvești metro station
Grozăveşti is a metro station in Bucharest. It is located on the banks of the Dâmboviţa river next to the Politehnica University of Bucharest (it is one of the three metro stations servicing the university), the Regie and Grozăveşti student campuses, the CET Grozăveşti thermal power station and the Carrefour Orhideea shopping centre. It was opened November 1979 as part of the first line of the Bucharest Metro and is currently servicing M1.
Grivița metro station
Griviţa is a metro station in northern Bucharest. It was opened in 2000 as part of Line M4, and is therefore one of the most modern stations in Bucharest. It is located near the Grivița railroad workshops.
Lujerului metro station
Lujerului metro station, previously known as Armata Poporului is a metro station in the Militari neighborhood of Bucharest. It is located at the intersection of Lujerului and Iuliu Maniu Avenues, close to the Lujerului road-tunnel, near the Cotroceni Freight Railway Terminal, the Lujerului Silo, Mills and Bread Factory, and next to the Cora Lujerului hypermarket. The metro station also services the Plaza Romania mall. It was opened in August 1983 and currently serves M3.
Politehnica metro station
Politehnica is a metro station in Bucharest. It is one of the three stations located near the campus of the Universitatea Politehnica Bucureşti. The station also services the Faculty of Journalism of the University of Bucharest and its campus, the Apaca textiles factory and the headquarters of Vodafone Romania.
Gorjului metro station
Gorjului is a metro station in Bucharest named after the Piaţa Gorjului, east of which is situated. It was added later to the system in the 1990s, and built in two stages. First built was the platform for trains headed for Industriilor, and after a few years, the platform for trains headed for Eroilor entered revenue service.
Militari
Militari is a district in the western part of Bucharest, in Sector 6. It is home of more than 100,000 inhabitants. In the past a village called "Militari" existed here, but today there are only few houses left from this time. The first apartment buildings (with 2,3 and 4 floors) have been built in the 1950s by Communist party workers. Later, in the 1970s and 1980s, most of the present-day blocks of flats (with 8 and 10 flats) have been built.

Drumul Taberei (approx. Road of the Camp) is a neighbourhood located in the south-west of Bucharest, Romania, roughly between Timișoara Avenue (south of Plaza România and the Cotroceni Railway Station) and Ghencea Avenue, neighboring Militari to the North, Panduri to the East and Ghencea and Rahova to the South and South-East.
Grivița
Grivița is an area of Bucharest, Romania, centered on the Grivița Railway Yards (Atelierele Căi Ferate Grivița), which were and still are an important landmark within the manufacturing landscape of the city. Located near Gara de Nord, their history dates back to the late decades of the 19th century, when they were developed in order to perform maintenance and overhaul of railway equipment serving Căile Ferate Române.

The Plaza Romania is a shopping mall in Bucharest, Romania. The construction, based on an uncompleted hunger circus abandoned after the fall of Nicolae Ceauşescu, has 3 distinguishible parts — a central structure with a dome 40 metres in diameter, and two new and complex wing structures. The centre has two functional sections - a mall and a hypermarket, which can be operated independently according to operation conditions. The site also includes an open-air carpark and an indoor carpark.
Podul Grant
Podul Grant (Grant Bridge) is a bridge for motorway and lightrail in Bucharest, Romania. It is named after Effingham Grant, the British consul in Bucharest in the mid-19th century. Initially, the bridge was made of steel, and opened in 1910. In the late 1970s, it was remade from concrete. Since then, a number of maintenance and modernisation projects have been executed.
Ștefan Gheorghiu Academy
The Ştefan Gheorghiu Academy was a university created and used by the Romanian Communist Party (PCR) for training its cadres for executive and agitprop-related functions. It was established as Universitatea Muncitorească a PCR (PCR Workers' University) and began functioning on March 21, 1945 in Bucharest, apparently on Ana Pauker's initiative. Its first leaders were rector Barbu Lăzăreanu, a literature professor, and secretary Constantin Ionescu-Gulian, a Stalinist philosopher.
Monument to the Heroes of the Military Engineers' Army
The Monument to the Heroes of the Military Engineers' Army (Romanian: Monumentul Eroilor din Arma Geniului; often called Leul - "the Lion") in Bucharest, Romania is dedicated to the heroism and sacrifice of the military engineers who fought in the Romanian Army during World War I, of whom nearly a thousand were killed in action and many more wounded.

Dâmbovița Lake ("Lacul Dâmbovița") is a lake situated on Dâmboviţa river in Bucharest and Chiajna, west of Morii Lake and bordering Morii Lake. It has an area of 55 ha. The lake is 3 km from the center of Bucharest (University Square) and is located between: Morii Lake to the East, Giulești district at North, Chiajna and Rosu Forest at South. A project underground highway, a tunnel which will link Morii Lake and Dambovita Lake (also Chiajna) to Civic Center and A1 freeway

Regie is a small district situated in western Bucharest, Romania on the banks of the Dâmboviţa river, in Sector 6.
