Auditorio Juan Pachín Vicéns
The Auditorio Juan Pachín Vicéns, formerly, Coliseo Juan Pachín Vicéns, is a sports venue in the city of Ponce, Puerto Rico. The auditorium opened on May 12, 1972 and is named after renowned basketball player Juan "Pachín" Vicéns (1934–2007), though it was first dubbed as "coliseum", not "auditorium".
Estadio Francisco Montaner
The Estadio Francisco ("Paquito") Montaner is a multi-use stadium in Ponce, Puerto Rico. It is home to the Leones de Ponce team of the Puerto Rico Baseball League (LBPPR) and FC Leones of the Puerto Rico Soccer League (PRSL). The stadium has a capacity of 16,000 seats. Construction of the stadium began in 1947 and it opened on October 15, 1949. Montaner has the distinction of being the first stadium in Puerto Rico that installed an artificial surface field.

It borders the municipality of Peñuelas. Along with Playa, Bucana, Vayas and Capitanejo, Canas is also one of Ponce's five coastal barrios. The name of this barrio if of native Indian origin.
Ponce Grand Prix
The Ponce Grand Prix de Atletismo is a track and field competition held yearly in Ponce, Puerto Rico at the Francisco Montaner Stadium. The event started in 2007, after the successful hosting of the 2006 Ibero-American Championships. It is considered amongst the most important athletic evens in the Caribbean based on the competitive and organizational quality of the event.
