WPUC-FM
WPUC-FM is a noncommercial educational radio station broadcasting an Adult Contemporary format. Licensed to Ponce, Puerto Rico, it serves the southern Puerto Rico area. The station is currently owned by Pontifical Catholic Univ of Puerto Rico Service Assn, Incorporated. The original (1982) licensee call letters of this radio station were WEUC, short for Emisora Universidad Catolica . On March 1, 2000, it changed its call letters to WPUC-FM, Pontifica Universidad Catolica .
Toro Negro State Forest
Toro Negro State Forest is one of the 16 state forests in Puerto Rico. The forest is located in the central region of the island. The forest covers 6,945 cuerdas of mountains, with heights that include Cerro de Punta, the highest peak in the island. It spans areas within the municipalities of Jayuya, Ponce, Orocovis, Juana Díaz, and Ciales, and consists of seven non-contiguous tracks of land. The largest segment of the forest is located in the municipalities of Jayuya and Ponce.

Río Anón is a river in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Río Anón is one of 13 rivers in the municipality of Ponce and, at 1,060 feet, it is also the third with the highest river mouth location, after Río Prieto and Río Blanco, both of which have their mouths at 1,381 feet . Río Anón is a tributary of Río Inabón. It has a length of approximately 4 kilometers and generally runs south. It has both its origin and its mouth in Barrio Anón.

The Río Matilde is a short river in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. It forms from the confluence of Rio Pastillo and Rio Canas Río Matilde is one of the 14 rivers in the municipality and, forming at an altitude of just 15 feet, it forms at an altitude lower than any other river in the municipality.

Anón (Barrio Anón) is one of the 31 barrios in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Along with Marueño, Coto Laurel, Guaraguao, Quebrada Limon, Real, and San Patricio, and the coastal barrios of Canas and Capitanejo, Anón is one of the municipality's nine bordering barrios. Anón borders the municipalities of Jayuya and Juana Diaz. The name of this barrio is of native Indian origin.

Along with Magueyes, Tibes, Portugués, Montes Llanos, Machuelo Arriba, Sabanetas, and Cerrillos, Maragüez is one of the municipality's eight rural interior barrios. The name of this barrio is of native Indian origin.
Rio Cerrillos
Río Cerrillos is a river in the municipality of Ponce, Puerto Rico. Río Cerrillos has its origin in barrio Anón and runs south until it feeds into Río Bucaná. Río Cerrillos is commonly known by the locals as Río Maragüez, because most of its course runs through Barrio Maragüez. This river is one of the 14 rivers in the municipality. The river has a discharge of 24,000 cubic feet per second, making it the second most affluent river in the municipality after Rio Jacaguas.
